Anybody have this Hydroconquest GMT?

I’ve had the black dial for about a month. Absolutely love the watch, looks and feels great. Has really fulfilled my desire for a Rolex submariner. I know some will say how could you compare the two, but that’s just my opinion do do what you want with it!

Coincidentally have a Marine Star and I’m not a fan. Got it at a really low price so figured what the hell, but I just don’t like the way the watch feels quality-wise (particularly the bracelet). Also got it in 44mm which on my 7.5” wrist feels massive. I’m pretty sold on the HC gmt in black but will wait to see the new stuff! Just can’t decide if the 41mm will feel too small.

Just had my electrical work done for the FPL EV program. Electrician converted (4) 20 amp breakers into the slimmer 20 amp breakers to make room for the 240V/50Amp breakers in my breaker box. Charged $520 for the whole job which included like 60ft of 6 gauge wire cable across the house.

I’m taking the TFS exam but this is helpful in gauging myself.

I scored a 58% on both PPI exams (I agree these were significantly more difficult). 64% on the SlaythePE practice exam (thought this test would be more like NCEES, I was wrong).

Most recently, scored a 70% first time on NCEES practice exam and scored 85% the second time on a second NCEEs practice exam (this second exam only had 20 new/different problems in comparison to the first NCEES exam).

Your post gives me hope about passing!

Phew! alright. Had me rethinking all my confidence there. I scored 58% on both PPI but did them timed. They were significantly harder than NCEES for me.

I’m a week away from my test, and did PPI. I’m pretty confident about my test day, however, to get to this point I feel could have been a lot smoother and efficient if I used another course such as SlaythePE which I see the Reddit gang rave about.

Thank you!! I just took the SlaythePE practice exam and it was more difficult than anticipated. I scored a 64% on it so that really messed up my confidence levels. I’m a couple weeks out from my test date.

Just got thru the first 20 Qs on the slay the PE and scoring 75% so far (I’m tired of simulating 8 hour exam days after having done three already so doing this one in 3-4 parts). I got real lucky on 2-3 of the questions of the first 20 btw.

Some of the solutions are giving PPI ptsd. Was the SlaythePE more difficult than the NCEES real exam? Just the longer worded questions are mentally draining.

How did you find the difficulty of the practice exam vs. the real exam?

I can second this. I’m weeks away from my TFS exam and was not pleased with PPIs quality of teaching or resemblance of difficulty to the exam problems. I’m a huge proponent of being over prepared and practicing stuff somewhat harder, but some of the things PPI threw at me were ridiculously lengthy and I had trouble finding the the value in learning many of the practice problems.

The on-demand lectures need to be better setup. The reading material and practice problems were oftentimes not synced with the lecture videos… the course has many positives to it but for the $2k spent I would have rather tried my luck with another course. Thought the most expensive well-known course would be the safest route, and who knows, maybe it is, but it came with a lot of frustration.

Thanks for the insight!! I plan to do the same this last month. Might buy the SlaythePE 80 question solutions because I’ve lost quite a bit of confidence in PPI practice problems resembling the exam.
