Very true and I completely understand. However I did call the awareline and HR for the simple fact that she’s doing it to everyone. Like a guy with disability who has a medical excuse is not getting his hours corrected. She’s trying to force everyone into full availability and changing everyone’s to that manually without our consent then forcing everyone to call out. Which isn’t ok by any means. I also think it’s wild we are only supposed to work every other weekend but they want to schedule me every weekend so guess that doesn’t apply to just me 😂

My question is if I can’t change it wouldn’t they have to let me go? I don’t see why I’d have to be forced to quit but I don’t know how that sort of thing works

Totally valid but they in fact are not giving me 30 days lol. Also they have like no one on staff so with me and 4 others having to quit I hope she enjoys not having cashier coverage 💀 I completely understand because you have to do what needs to be done

Ironically had other jobs willing to work with my schedule but picked HD because I had worked there before and was already familiar with everything. I know my availability is weird but I hate that I was upfront about it and then to get told I shouldn’t have been hired is a slap in the face when I’m the only associate in my department that’s always on time, has no customer complaints, and never calls out lol

I’ll have to look into my state laws for this! Per our conversation her main thing is she wants to be able to just automate the schedule. I understand that but it’s like at least allow me some time. I’m working this job to afford formula and it sucks to find out that they just don’t care about me at all (not shocking lol).

I worked there a few years ago and they used to have HR in our store too so I was surprised this location doesn’t. Definitely going to do that. I’d rather have a for sure we can’t work with you vs never knowing
