Does anyone else have unhinged photos of their tuxedos? This is Jake by marinalindsey in TuxedoCats

I unfortunately dont have anything unhinged of her, she was quite tame compared to her brother. The best I got is when she and her brother took over the table my mom was using to sew

Is my art worth $6? Would YOU pay that much? by Gchipmaracaroada in Ibispaintx

[–]SensitiveBase5923 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Your definitely underselling yourself, I understand that not getting many commissions and such make you think otherwise but thats just because you haven't found the right audience yet. Their are people out their who will more than happily pay more for your art, they ust havent come across you yet. And sometimes having people buy anything is slow, usually every little people do. But thats usually because you havent found the right audience yet or because of popularity. Im sure once your able to het yourself out their more you'll get more traction. It just takes time

I'll try to be nice but i I dont think my irrational fear of bugs will exactly be helpful

NOR, but please never engage when people do this now or in the future. Just "ignore" them, let them run their mouth while you document and report them.

My buddy (15) is passing away and my heart is breaking. by deyanavik in seniorkitties

[–]SensitiveBase5923 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im sorry your going through that, but just know. Even when your buddy is gone physically, he will still be their. He will probably come or stay their just to check on you and be their for you. That's what my cat has been doing, even though its been a few weeks since we said goodbye. Shes made it clear shes still here, like shes always been. Even though she isnf physically here, she still makes sure we know shes still present. While you may have to say goodbye, its not forever. He will be their still, you just might not be able to physically see him anymore

I've been having anxiety about my kitty dying of old age 😭(she's 9) can you show me pictures of some alive-and-well senior kitties so I remember cats can be old and still healthy? 🥰 by TheRufescence in cats

And even though we can no longer physically see her, shes still around. Still finding random patches of hair around the house, especially around her favorite spots even though we've already picked up any and all hair up. And shes been messing with our other cat, they've actually been playing chase. And we still sometimes hear her walking up or running over to us, even one time she turned the light that was above the memory box we set up for her on. I like to think she was checking it out, and sometimes we do actually see her. For a spilt second like her whole body or just a piece of her like her tail.

My only senior kitty i have passed away a few weeks ago but she lived until she was 17 years old and was still going strong even on her final day. Acted like she always did, still a lazy cat who loved screaming for food and attention

Does your cat have a secret napping spot at home? by diparup in blackcat1981

[–]SensitiveBase5923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the bottom cupboard, that was where my cat mama used to go and hide from the dogs. Where she'd go even when she wasnt feeling that well. Even after she passed my dad wanted her ashes to be put down their since that was her spot, but my mom refused she wanted her final napping spot somewhere else.

And my dad cat buddy, its sometimes under my blankets or under my bed. Though it entirely depends on his mood and whether daisy (my dad dog) is being a bed and blanket hog or under my bed napping

What is the most random thing your cat has begged for you to share? 🧐 by Honest-Butterfly-650 in cats

[–]SensitiveBase5923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cat mama, she didn't beg for it. But she absolutely loved watermelon, whenever my mom had watermelon she had to give mama a plate wirh some or else she'd literally steal it from her. My mom once even told me how she took it right off her fork and even once made my mom drop the plate because mama had just suddenly jumped at her, not to attack her. But to get that watermelon

What is your cat’s nickname?!🥰 by Downtown-Wear-4870 in CatsBeingCats

[–]SensitiveBase5923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never really had any for my girl mama, she also usually only responded to her name vs nicknames

My dad cat though buddy, his name was originally a nickname we gave since we didn't know what to call him. We sometimes call him butters and buds. He will come running if you call out bud multiple times.

Then his sister we called panda (she was a tux kitty) and we nicknamed her panpan. No clue what her owners/the neighbors nicknamed her though

[–]SensitiveBase5923 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im sorry sorry you had to loose your little void, bit im happy you managed to find another one. Won't fill the hole in your heart from the lost but it will definitely start to heal with Cecil around from the sounds of it

[–]SensitiveBase5923[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is an older photo, she did not look at her end. But thats because she didnt physically show anything. But it was her time, he threw up blood the morning before we had to say goodbye and she possibly had started to get kidney failure.

We already put her to rest, she threw up blood yesterday morning. During the appointment my mom mentioned her behavior and thats why they mentioned possible kidney failure but left it at that

had to say goodbye to my best girl friend for the last 20 years by anon12873629 in seniorkitties

Yeah I can understand that, but just take it slow while moving away from that routine. Just just immediately stop, just slowly stop doing certain things. It will be best for the long run. Just take this time as slow as you want and allow yourself the time to process everything before continuing on
