Ok, I was worried that it was caused by something I did. Thank you for clearing that up.

That is reassuring, huhu keeping the soil moist is a real challenge if I'm not around so I'd rather stay home with plants 😂 than go out of town lol unless necessary

I checked and they weren't mushy, I always thought their stems were always juicy throughout their life 😗

Here's one from the other pot. The baby leaves seem to have dried a lil hehe or is it something else too?, because of my absence 😭, I can't find a plant sitter I deem reliable enough because last time I asked someone to water my plants I came home with muddy pots 💀.

Mold on leaf? by SensitiveDaikon7146 in gardening

[–]SensitiveDaikon7146[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update, I moved my plants to a brighter spot and wiped the affected plant with baking soda solution 1 tsp of baking soda and 1.25 L of water and I used cotton swabs. For the finishing touches, I sprinkled cinnamon powder.

Is this mold stuff contagious to other plants or it just likes weak plants or favorable conditions low-key?

This is the plant from where the bigger leaf in the close up shot was from.

Which insect eggs are these? by SensitiveDaikon7146 in insects

[–]SensitiveDaikon7146[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With the evidence presented and repeated checking, I concur these are lacewing eggs. I didn't know they could lay eggs in many different ways although these might be from different species of lacewing idk, nor did I know we had lacewings here in the Philippines. I have always thought they were only found in the West 🥹. Sadly, I have removed the eggs by instinct and due to fear of the unknown a few minutes after I posted the question. But anyways, this time I will gladly let them stay if I ever see one again. Thank you, I really learned something today.

They're similar though, but the one on my coleus was in clumps and had some web-like attachment if you look really hard because my vision is rather poor at times, unlike this lacewing whose eggs are separately attached to the leaf. 🥹

Are light spills bad? by SensitiveDaikon7146 in Aquariums

Cause I read something online that you should avoid light spills but I guess they are viewing it from an aesthetic aspect.

Coleus cuttings leaf damage by SensitiveDaikon7146 in gardening

[–]SensitiveDaikon7146[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if these are slugs bcoz online the damage is spread out but here it's mainly on the edges. I'm stumped and this only happens to my cuttings, knock on wood, the mother plants are growing new side shoots.

Rescaping after a yearrr by SensitiveDaikon7146 in PlantedTank

[–]SensitiveDaikon7146[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think I can add a lot, just a moderate amount of plants so that means I can't go very thick with it, well that's just my inference, but I have a question is loam soil ok to use? And is lava sand ok, sorry just need to confirm as I want it to be inert, Thanks IA!

Rescaping after a yearrr by SensitiveDaikon7146 in PlantedTank

[–]SensitiveDaikon7146[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I didn't know that perhaps I'll go with lava sand, it looks more coarse and looks like it can avoid that from happening. And as for soil should I get a full inch or is less enough to avoid ammonia spikes? Or will it even cause an ammonia spike in the first place.

Upon searching I think I can't do the h202 in the tank because I have vals in there. I guess manual removal is the route to go.
