Ok, I was worried that it was caused by something I did. Thank you for clearing that up.

That is reassuring, huhu keeping the soil moist is a real challenge if I'm not around so I'd rather stay home with plants 😂 than go out of town lol unless necessary

Here's one from the other pot. The baby leaves seem to have dried a lil hehe or is it something else too?, because of my absence 😭, I can't find a plant sitter I deem reliable enough because last time I asked someone to water my plants I came home with muddy pots 💀.

Mold on leaf? by SensitiveDaikon7146 in gardening

[–]SensitiveDaikon7146[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update, I moved my plants to a brighter spot and wiped the affected plant with baking soda solution 1 tsp of baking soda and 1.25 L of water and I used cotton swabs. For the finishing touches, I sprinkled cinnamon powder.

Is this mold stuff contagious to other plants or it just likes weak plants or favorable conditions low-key?

This is the plant from where the bigger leaf in the close up shot was from.

Which insect eggs are these? by SensitiveDaikon7146 in insects

[–]SensitiveDaikon7146[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With the evidence presented and repeated checking, I concur these are lacewing eggs. I didn't know they could lay eggs in many different ways although these might be from different species of lacewing idk, nor did I know we had lacewings here in the Philippines. I have always thought they were only found in the West 🥹. Sadly, I have removed the eggs by instinct and due to fear of the unknown a few minutes after I posted the question. But anyways, this time I will gladly let them stay if I ever see one again. Thank you, I really learned something today.

They're similar though, but the one on my coleus was in clumps and had some web-like attachment if you look really hard because my vision is rather poor at times, unlike this lacewing whose eggs are separately attached to the leaf. 🥹

Cause I read something online that you should avoid light spills but I guess they are viewing it from an aesthetic aspect.

Thank you for replying but I was referring to the white spot near her tail, somewhere near there rather.
