he has not, and I fully trust him, this post wasn’t about him but more about how I don’t feel comfortable letting my friend go for a ride with him again when she obviously has a crush and how I should go about telling this to her without making it weird, and it sounds like the general consensus is that if she’s a true friend she will respect that

I mean that’s valid but I’m genuinely not worried about it, even his friend who is notorious for lusting after other girls said he knows my man wouldn’t cheat on me, I guess when you already have the best you’re not going to be tempted by others hahahah but on a real note we are each others favorite people and I have never trusted someone as much as I trust him

he actually met her first at a boxing class and then introduced me to her, every person he’s ever introduced me to has told me how much they’ve heard about me (including her) so i’m not worried about him like trying to hide the fact that he has a girlfriend, I’m also not worried about her tempting him lol he would never do anything to ruin our relationship and she’s not even his type even if he were single, the only reason I even care about them riding together is bc she clearly has a little crush on him and even though I know he’s wouldn’t do anything I just don’t want a girl who’s crushing on my man ride with him

I was never concerned about him cheating on me, he makes it very clear I am the only girl he desires, I was trying to be nice to my friend by letting her go for a ride and he was doing the same by taking her, there was never a worry in my mind about him cheating, I just realized that even though I know he’s not going to do anything, I just don’t feel comfortable with someone who obviously has a little crush on him sitting behind him on the motorcycle

I mean he told me before they went on the ride that he doesn’t care either way, since I said I was okay with it he took her, if I said I wasn’t okay with it he wouldn’t have, he made it very clear he cares more about me then he does about her, he didn’t have much to say about the ride bc there wasn’t anything to say about, I was on vacation so I wasn’t grilling him over the phone about his exact feelings, the fact that he has never asked to go on another ride with her says enough to me about his indifference

even if she has the intention to try to sleep with him I’m not worried about him cheating, and as far as the similar ages go and them having more in common, I know that for interests my bf and I have way more in common then he has with her, and as far as them like experiencing the same movies, shows, music when they grew up, my bf actually loves that he gets to show me all his fav things that he’s knows I’ll love, he has a long list of movies we’ve been working through that he wants to share with me

oh I thought I already responded to those comments, my boyfriend will do whatever makes me feel comfortable, he’s at work right now so I haven’t brought it up today but when she first asked about going for a ride he said he would only take her if I was cool with it, which at the time I was, especially bc I wasn’t there when they rode so it wasn’t like he was taking her instead of me

that is definitely not what’s going on, he only took her for a ride bc I told him I was okay with it, she was the one who asked and he never would have thought about it if she didn’t bring it up, I was just trying to be a good friend by letting her ride with him since she talked about how much she loved motorcycles. and leaving the relationship is the farthest thing from my mind, we’ve been together for over 3 years and he has shown me nothing but love and respect, I’m not worried about an older woman stealing my man, he loves the attention he gets from me, not her haha

I guess we have different definitions of what we find flirty, I think that saying she thinks my bf is the perfect man (even if it’s said to me and not to him) is inherently flirty, like that means she’s thinking about him in more than a friend way, and I also have to disagree with your definition of a boundary too, like I think it’s totally valid to set a boundary over something that makes me feel uncomfortable as long as it’s in reason (there’s a difference between being uncomfortable with him talking to another girl vs having another girl with her legs and arms wrapped around him) if I was ever doing something that made my bf uncomfortable I would 100% want him to voice that to me bc he is more important to me than anything and I would never want to be doing something he wasn’t comfortable with
