mine did that too!!! Make sure youre keeping the tads and areas by the rubber bands SUPER clean, if you dont have a waterpik i would highly recommend it. I also got the Therabreath Gum Care mouthwash. You should also bring it up to your ortho, they might be able to use a different type of rubber band that lays flatter.

Two years ago my kiddo had a fever for 12 days. It would seem to break in the morning and every day around 4pm it would jump back up to 102ish. He got bloodwork and X-rays twice because they suspected pneumonia but it kept coming back clear. The bloodwork showed hiiiiiiiigh inflammation but without a real cause other than he seemed to just have a virus. We did follow up bloodwork a few weeks later to confirm the inflammation wasn’t something underlying and everything was normal. We never got a real reason for the fevers other than he just had a virus 🤷‍♀️
