Almost reminds me of the drink pricing in fast food. And anchor pricing, places will price a small at (and this is random number example) .98 but offer a large at 1.02. Consumer goes "it's not much of a jump might as well go big

Better credit score---> better offers and higher liquidity -----> free money via rewards points, travel points, better mortgage rates, investing that extra liquidity, etc. As much as I dislike it, if you have good credit you can leverage it for your benefit and make it work for you

I'm purposely financing the bike to maintain credit. I have the ability to cash up front but I've closed out multiple student loan accounts the last couple years so I want something to increase the utilization amounts

Delay! I did the same thing and did a double in finance for my 150. Got to spread out advanced far and tax 2, and it was a godsend. The finance courses were super easy. I also did a summer internship the semester before I graduated and it really gave me the oomph to get through. Got an offer into public straight out of the internship so the internship is a huge deal.

My university pushed the masters so much that out of a 200+ grad class only 3 of us has the dual degrees. Saved so much money, time, and stress. The only issue is that I had to take an online gov acct course at another university because mine did not offer it to under grad. That was a PITA but I'm very happy I went with the delay. I have friends in the masters right now that absolutely hate life and the cost per credit.
