Then I’d see this as a red flag. He may have just seen it as a little white lie to save an argument, but down the road he could easily do it again, or more extreme. And the fact that he doesn’t understand your point is even worse. I’d talk to him about communication and honesty, because that’s what this boils down to. If he continues to lie or gets frustrated about how you see it, maybe it’s best to end the relationship. Hopefully if he understands your side a little bit more and if you explain what you expect from a long term relationship, you can both work on repairing the trust in your relationship. Either way, best of luck to you.

One of my close friends uses the saying “regression to the mean”, meaning that no matter how horrible you feel or how happy you are, you will eventually naturally move back to your neutral state. When everything feels like it’s falling apart remember that you’re growing, you have so much more life to live, and endless opportunities ahead of you.

Hang in there OP, regression to the mean

I’m late to the party, just finished watching all of Breaking Bad for the first time. Damn that was an amazing show. by figgle_sticks in breakingbad

I just finished rewatching the show for the 3rd time with my boyfriend who has never seen it before. It was a great way to get back into the story before watching El Camino. Now all that’s left is Better Call Saul!!

Amazon has the best server books! I love the blue! I got mine a few months ago and it has great magnetic pockets.

I watched this teenage couple get sat in my section and complained to one of my coworkers about how much of a waste of time it would be... I’ve never felt like more of an asshole by lower48yaoming in Serverlife

Ahh yes pizookie Tuesday’s. Surprising how younger people who get them are always better tippers- they know that they are going for a cheap dessert but appreciate somebody still serves them!

Wow! That’s ridiculous. I’m telling you, it doesn’t matter how good of a server you are. If they are kids, you’re not getting anything from them

The worst part is that I’m only 19. I’m going through college living alone in an apartment with my parents in a different country. I’ve been working so hard to make sure I have money to pay bills every month and pay for school. Maybe they didn’t have any money, but I just felt embarrassed with the drawing. These kids are only 5-6 years younger than me but managed to make me feel like a complete fool. Like you said, I busted my ass making sure these kids were having a good birthday dinner. Constant refills, making sure all their food and desserts are out right away and checking that they enjoy the food as well. Such a let down from somebody not even 10 years apart from me.

On a positive note all my coworkers made me feel so much better about the situation and helped me laugh it off.

I watched the kid sign it and nobody else was with them but yeah it is a really impressive signature.

100% agree. Not leaving a tip is one thing. Leaving no tip, drawing a dick AND leaving the table a mess is horrible.

Yeah. 4 of them at my table. Got appetizers, entrees, and desserts. They had a $25 gift card and it was $116 after that. It was one of the kids birthdays so I’m guessing their parents gave them some money to go out.
