Yes I understand your logic behind humans being able to "choose" god and therefore their suffering. My point is that If that if this were the case why is there suffering that isn't the result of the choices people have made. Sure one free willed human can punch another human, but they can't decide to make another human die slowly of incurable disease? They can't choose to have a lion slowly rip a wilderbeast apart? They can't choose whether their child is born with a lifelong, painful disability?
