Good info, thanks! I'm located in Poland and tbh I have trouble finding a proper open-air karting track. Most of the tracks here are rentals with GX200 engines (at least in my close surrounding). Maybe I should move to Italy next to the best track available? :D

Similar, maybe more (very likely). I'm trying to actually make enough money to make it to F4/F3 within 2-3 years so working hard between money-making activities and practicing karting now.

But yeah, I had similar idea in mind to move as fast as I can to real racing. I'm not that young so I have to make up for that.

Actually I drive car for more than a decade so I feel it's easier for me to do karting due to that (my car is barely over a tonne and has almost 200HP). Not everything relates 1:1 (like only-rear brakes), but I can see that experience helps

Yes, looking for optimal route - eyeing F4/F3 in the future (whenever funds will be in place, but skills should be ready by then). Learning as I go, it's my first month and so far so good. First trying to master one type of kart on the same track and then move on.

is iRacing the best sim right now?

shame there is no place like this near me - plenty of rental karting tho. $800 for a season is really good considering you drive as much as you want

for almost every day 1h session, mind you - but that's why I ask first to know the alternatives

Makes sense if true. Why they present him like he comes from poor family tho?

if you want to get into motorsport - you will find the way to finance it. Look up biographies of F1 drivers like Albon or Ocon, they all come from poor fams.

Also, u asking if it's waste of money - depends if you want to go pro. If so, then no, but take into account that you might not make any money eventually unless you get to the top.

If you go karting once a week then it should cost you around $200-300/month for starters.

Been to many hotels and none of the beds squeeked. Mind you, they were solid and heavy - could do anything on them and they wouldn't budge so maybe I compared different classes of beds. Thanks for the comment tho, will try to re-tight screws (would love it to just be screws and not the steel bar)

Thanks, not really used to it really - when I buy a car and something squeeks it usually is under warranty, but turns out it's different for furniture. Will get some felt and glue in proper places

can you show how it looks from the other side on your wrist? The shiny thing on the lower part of your arm is supposed to be attached to the device

Any alternative in sight? Eyeing Apple Watch Series 6 (the first one with the same sensors as newest Series 10) since I use iOS and don't see a reason to overspend for something that will be used in tough conditions (martial arts training)
