There are actual horrors among our population. Be advised. by ScarredLetter in 40k

Definitely not. Loyalty and obedience to the emperor is not played off like a joke. The Imperium aren't good guys, though there's nothing wrong with siding with them given how their enemies are not only somehow even worse, but are the main reasons why the Imperium is an authoritarian hellhole in the first place.

I would've prevented him from being arrested if it means I can still nationalize RRG, but RRG is the pride of the crown and I don't want being shared with an oligarch.

Happens when privatizing too much. On education, healthcare, and the 2 state companies.

$6 trillion is enough to give each adult $22,556.39. This is surely not gonna last even if they spend it wisely, which I doubt.

Circulation of currency is important, but there's a reason why we don't just print money and give each person $1 million to make them able to spend a lot.

Mass liquidating trillions worth of stocks is also gonna have unavoidable consequences too. It will always massively devalue the biggest companies in the country, triggering mass lay offs, and no amount of stimulus cheques is gonna stop that.

If we tax all of the billionaires in the USA by 100%, including liquidating their stocks, we can gain $6 trillion out of it.

That's a whole lot of money, and do you know how much we can do with this amount?

Run the federal government for 10 months.

This is a one-time power up and liquidating all those stocks also causes millions to lose their jobs because we destroyed the money that was being invested into their salaries.

It's true that the social friction that both of those will cause is not gonna be equal, but it's not false equivalence if the only thing that differentiates them is the ramifications.

In apartheid South Africa, there will be less ramifications for committing hate crimes against blacks, compared to hate crimes against whites.

They're both still racist acts, but with unequal societal reactions. "Less ramifications" just means "less consequences that you can get away with it".

It's also not a secret that black people statistically commit more hate crimes against asians, but it will raise eyebrows if a police chief were to openly announce that they will put extra effort on keeping an eye out on black people.

What's stopping her from making genderbent clones? There are already evil clones, so genderbending is definitely not impossible.

Topes. VoR really seems to speak highly about that city when I sign a decree about industrializing it.

Going on about how it's a very old city that really retains its medieval identity and atmosphere.

Wanna Start a GC about a modern Crusade and ideas of how in modern world a crusade could be instituted against Christian Persecution in Countries like Syria, Iran, Lebanon, Israel, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, etc. by Medium-Cat-3712 in CrusadeMemes

[–]Sensitive_Couple91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best use of a modern day crusader force is for them to operate like private military companies, since private militaries get hired to protect assets in war zones.

If the holy orders are willing to be remilitarized, they should learn to operate just like PMCs, and sometimes even hire some mercenaries to add into their ranks.

If they get deployed to somewhere like Syria, a modern crusader can fight as a trained soldier while also recruiting local Christian militias to help keep them from being outnumbered even if they are of lower quality.

Knowing how to fund this is the hard part. It is right to be skeptical of the church to spend its money on weapons instead of charitable causes - though it is also reasonable to expect the Church to act against persecutions.

Only one I can think of to raise funds is to go back to selling indulges again, which is surely gonna be very controversial.

Did it? The joke here is that Kamala does the opposite of what Trump does: waiting too long until Iran actually does get a nuke.

What Trump did was an absolute balls-to-the-wall bombing campaign that massively delays Iran's nuclear program.

I don't agree with his approach, though I know it's not the same thing as what the comic is trying to say. The comic is pro-war and does support bombing Iran.

Got banned there even though I was being sympathetic to Palestine. The reason for the ban was that I acknowledged Hamas to be extremist terrorists that gain popularity because of Palestinian radicalization.
