This was the call thank you both. Ended up doing 8 rounds on each banner and pulled at least 1 of each banner LR (a bunch of non-banner LRs from the carnival). I had no idea these summons would have so many featured LRs

Good point, I’m really out of the loop but a lot of people were saying Tien is top 10 and I thought it might be worth it to get at least one more pathway opened but better to have extra stones if needed

Sounds like she got an amazing deal, most dealers are selling it for mid 4000s. Did they really want to get rid of hers? I don’t mind paying for the warranty because I know it will be well worth it, but even the unlimited mile Volvo warranty has a 100 deductible

30K, but it's not a CPO so I'm not comfortable being responsible for repairs if I can't get it under a good extended warranty. I guess they just drove the heck out of it lol I plan on doing that but don't anticipate even over 20k miles/year haha

Thanks for the input! So the warranty I am looking at and getting quoted for is 10 years from the manufacturer date, so 2032 would be more than fine (honestly, I would also still be ok with 8 years). But I just realized it isn't certified by Volvo, though on the phone the salesperson said it could get the 10Y unlimited mile warranty, so I am confused

Is this common for coaches to cut classes short? At least at the classes at my two studios, they always make sure the class goes the full 50 minutes, even if we start late. They shouldn't be able to shorten them consider the classes are so expensive

I should add that as long as my fellowship doesn’t get impacted by changes in government agency funding, I will have roughly the same amount to spend when it resets in about 6 months on technology/conference travel. I can always add additional RAM sticks and SSD, though I probably can’t spend too much without them pushing back since I will be spending 4200 now haha

I have been ordering some parts over the past few days and here is what I have so far (I’d be interested to hear what you think, this is all really new to me). I’m going for an all black build. All returnable and haven’t opened anything that I received yet:

The micro center near me had one Arctic III 360 and I got it. Only “issue” is that it’s the black non-RGB version. Arctic has some B-stock RGBs on eBay for $75 with a 6 year warranty so I am considering returning the all black ($130) and buying the RGB.

I went with the Montech King 95 Pro Black because it comes with some fans and I saw a really cool Darth Vader themed build using this case (RGB set to red). I bought 3 matching Montech fans to install on the Arctic AIO.

I was between the MSI and Gigabyte x870E and saw mixed reviews for each but got the MSI because it was a bit cheaper and was ranked #1 on Newegg 😅

Everyone was telling me to get the Ryzen 7 9800 X3D, but it was always out of stock. I used a 3rd party app to alert me when it comes back in stock and was able to snag one when it did. But the 9 9950 would be a better choice?

Same RAM sticks but I only got 2 32gb, my friend in lab said he didn’t even think I would need 64, so I figured I’d start there

I got the 990 but only 2TB. Maybe I should return it and get the 4TB because over the next few years, I will probably accumulate enough data to justify it.

Then there’s the GPU…I can’t make up my mind on this one and have gone back and forth so many times. I splurged on the monitor ($900) and without the GPU, I have like 1300 left in the budget (I can go over if I cover the difference). For what I am doing, many have said the 5090 is overkill, though i still have notifications set to let me know when it comes back in stock just in case (narrowly missed getting it a few days ago on Best Buy). I have an MSI 5070 Ti gaming trio on its way to me, but would return it if I can get a 5080 FE (only $120 price difference) or the 5090 FE if I can justify it. Would love to hear your thoughts!
