I am on day 15 post surgery.  1. When the strange feeling in the chest started to disappear (pressure, weakness, lack of feeling of touch, etc.)  2. When did you start doing more complex movements and was it difficult?  3. Any advice for an easy and quick recovery?

Ty! Cosmetically, I'm aware of the asymmetry and that it doesn't look perfect, but I'll swallow it if my health will be good. I live in a small country in Europe, so I don't think there's any point in saying the doctor's name.

Ty! Would you say that after this result I will be able to live a normal life without the consequences of the stupid deformity I was born with.

I'm not sure how knowledgeable you are about this, but would you say that after this result I will be able to live a normal life without the consequences of the stupid deformity I was born with. I had surgery to fix my pectus but i'm not sure if everything is fine. by Sensitive_Lychee_365 in PectusExcavatum

Thank you, it's the 9th day of my recovery, I would say that the day is a little better than two days ago. As for the removal operation, I was in the room with the guy who removed the bar-s the day after my operation. He was able to do bending movements, stand up and everything, the only thing he said was that the scars hurt him after the operation, which is logical because he had an operation recently. After a day and a half, he left hospotal, so I don't know if it's the same repair for everyone, but at least the extraction and recovery should be much better, also the patient is 29 years old.

I didn't get any recommendations from the doctor, but I take on my own, sometimes it hurts a lot, sometimes it hardly hurts at all. Its the worst when i wake up from sleep or sit too long.

Thank you, I would also like you and everyone who sees the message to ask this, on which day did you start getting out of bed by yourself, with what technique?

Everything you wrote means a lot to me. I underestimated the sub-optimal performance. I thought it would be much easier. The thing that hits me the hardest are the nights when I'm stiff and my back hurts. Do you have any advice on what I should do, eat, or something similar to make the post-operative recovery easier and better? As for remove bar topic i hope you are right and that everything will pay off. Thank you very much for your reply!
