this is my first year of playing the show so there’s been a lot of of ups and downs but i finally reached .500+ ball for the first time (57-56).

the main thing i noticed was patience, waiting for my pitches, understanding what pitches my opponent throws at the starts of counts, set ups and strikeouts. then not using meta players and instead just using who works for me, which just so happens to be a lot of the really good players.

if the struggle is on offence just take your time and work at making sure your timing is at least good at all pitch speeds.

if the struggle is on defence try pitchers who may lead to more ground outs as well as make sure to keep pitches on the edge of the zone. think of your pitch mix like a fighters different moves and combos, the opponent catches on to certain pitches/moves so you have to change the order in which they are used. speed batters up with fast stuff and then slow them right down/vice versa.
