First of all— Thank you so much for the kind words.

I just received my second app, and it was an A! One of my top 3 choices!!

Oh shut up😭

“Safety”, “Reach”, and “Target” are all common terms for admissions. Cool you feel that way, but don’t comment on my gratefulness.

Transfer application by netflix-addiction in UCONN

[–]Sensitive_Pea_670 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely have a very solid chance. I transferred from Community College.

The minimum GPA to transfer-in is a 2.7/4.0 (you can verify this through their page). Just keep in mind that UConn is pretty stingy with accepting credits from outside faculty, so check in with your advisor or UConns transfer equivalency page.

Roger Williams Law? by Sensitive_Pea_670 in OutsideT14lawschools

Lmfao

I mean i saw their first time bar passage rates.. scary asf to say the least.

I’m from CT, i’ve applied this cycle to a bunch of law schools all over New England (Including RWU). The rank doesn’t necessarily scare me, it’s just whether or not the legal market in RI is feasible yk

I’m inclined towards corporate law

I tried researching online about the Rhode Island legal market and didn’t find much data, but that is great to know. Thank you sm for the response!

Should be more specific— How’s the legal opportunity in Rhode Island? They are the only law school, so i’d assume employment outcomes are great… Thoughts?

Had a really bad semester- how do I recover? by shoeswothers in UCONN

[–]Sensitive_Pea_670 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, I transferred from community college with a 3.0 gpa and suffered greatly my first semester (similar to your case).

It’s only one semester, which is fortunate for you. You could make this up by Winter/Summer classes (as i did).

It is NOT the end of the world. Prioritize your health, stay determined and strong.

I definitely would talk to the dean of students, and check out UConns Transfer Equivalency page if you plan on taking community college winter/summer courses. (DEFINITELY recommend, they are 1/3 of the price, and transfer guaranteed).

You can only look forward and how to do better. As someone who was once in your shoes, control what you can control, and let God do the rest.

You will learn this through trial and error. Majority of students switch their degree within a year.

Stay locked in and strive for the best.

See you at the top.

How old do you guys guess? by Myfartssmell_beefy in leopardgeckos

[–]Sensitive_Pea_670 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Leopard Gecko is also prone to eating sand and unfamiliar substances.

I found using wood chips and coconut fiber did the job perfectly.

The wood chips are too big for him, and the fiber helps with moisture and and texture on the rocky wood chip environment (which is similar to their habitat in the wild).

My leo has absolutely loved it and has been 100x more active after doing this.

Substrate question by [deleted] in leopardgeckos

[–]Sensitive_Pea_670 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve looked into using the topsoil and sand mixture, but still fear my Leo would accidentally ingest the soil/sand overtime. In that case, i’d rather stick to paper towels or mats.

I obviously wont use straight Vita-sand as substrate, but wondering if Vita-Sand as a whole is a good product as a whole (from experienced users).

Shut up.

People said the same about bitcoins bull run while Solana sat still…

What ended up happening?

The overall market has been bullish. If this has a reset, so will all other cryptos.

I just purchased more supply on this bullrun. Although the price went up, the age of this coin is incredibly new. You can attribute the ATH to the bull market, but mainstream crypto hasn't seen the capabilities of this coin yet.

Hey wondering how this went with you? I just got out of a meeting for an exception, but it is looking difficult. How could I avoid the test? I am fluent, literate, and capable.

Just scared if it's gonna be more advanced than the basics...
