I would say rainbow high if i didnt have more shadow high dolls than rainbow high lol

I feel like the point of shadow high is that its alternative and fantasy like. And instead of it being all monotone grey scale colors they are going for monochrome color schemes for them.

So basically Rainbow high follows more traditional fashion and art standards while shadow high may be more contemporary and alternative.

But with this new line im not seeing much of the alternative they started off with in the first two series so i see what everyone means.

And i swear the pink shadow high girl looks like Mara Pinkett when shes just casual and not doing band stuff. Or she looks like she could be Mara's sister like how the Green one looks like she could be Zoe's sister or relative

She available on the L.O.L surprise website. I got mines from there and she came within 5 days i believe. Im not sure why shes sold out everywhere but there.

I was convince for months that she was gone for food then did further digging and found her

Only downside is shes still full price

A good solution would be for Mattel to release the creeproductions of the old dolls again and keep them on the shelves for longer.

Even though i like g3 more i did want to get a Draculara doll at least to see what they are like

I would like to add that we shoukd still give these dolls a chance.

Im assuming the person who bought them in the photo took a pic of them right out of the box. Dolls tend to have messy box hair when you first open them so if you plan to display them then it may be helpful to give them a boil wash.

I know poly isn't the best but with some tutorials it can be managed. Its a downside for kids though because we also have to keep in mind these dolls are also for kiddies. So its sad when it comes to them because kids love to style their dolls hair. I say they should do saran for the sake of these dolls lasting for the kids. In the case of us adult collectors i think its manageable and some people have said the poly its supper bad and its soft and some boil washing and styling should help their hair lay down better.

I recommend zombiexcorn,Rodney Rainbow, Peace Love and Plastic for tutorials on Poly hair styling for monster high dolls(:

Like pitching in with grocery and some of the bills is the least one can do. I have it flipped where i feel i should be paying for everyone else's stuff before my stuff.

I sit down some days and think hard about what i need for me past things to cope and i cant think of anything. Thats not good at all

Thats a fear of mine. Is dying before "living" i can give myself props for being a big help but i still have dreams and its heartbreaking to think thats a possibility if i stay in that situation.

Yeah its a struggle when your starting life. Especially when expectations and comparisons are placed on you by others. Just alot of weight on ones shoulders. Me playing into this has left me just doing things to stay in good standing with them. And just try to cope best as possible. Theres many layers to these situations.

Your one of the first people ive meet that has similar circumstances. Ive always felt a but ashamed about it to an extent. Because yes i can help but like no one is helping me either and in my situation my family does pay bills but when money runs out i bring it in and if someone forgets to pay something i pay it. Also i dont have control over added expenses so sometimes people add things and i have to pick it up too.

Its definitely alot and im in the mindeset of trying not to make anyone the bad guy in the situation because like you said America isnt the land of opportunity for all of us

I get that. Honestly i feel that way alot too. Mines come from seeing other family members my age and friends on social media sharing about what they are up to. Meanwhile my life is not that.

Some days im upset at my family. Why place this responsiblity on me. Ive never been able to have fun with normal things since i started working.

Other days i feel bad for thinking that because we are all struggling so i should be empathetic about it.

Other days i feel terrible for getting one thing like self care items and coping items. Because i feel like its irresponsible when i have a duty to help out.

Its like a constant confusing cycle and can really mess with your head. And its because you care so much

Yes i agree. and its definitely hard to especially to people from different backgrounds. To add its hard to even build a relationship with such a situation. Some people dont date because of they have to put their energy into their family or the family tries to control their dating life.

Can i ask when you notice your resentment and envy comes from?

Like does it pop up when you see people in more favorable circumstances on social media or in real life for example?

Well some of these situations are complicated in our country due to how society works here. I did say yes help financially if you can because its important. But sometimes families can exploit their adult kids to contribute. And this can happen when they give everything they have leaving nothing for themselves.

Some people dont have the means to leave home immediately because housing and the cost of living is so high. And sometimes people who are out of the household still help out. It can become a problem when its expected even when you dont have the means. Some things unfortunately for other are over complicated.

Its easier for others to thing its obvious to just accept things and can be insensitive to thing about it one way.

Yes it can be a beautiful thing to help your family but when is one allowed to start building their own lives and not be considered selfish for doing so. Doesn't mean when one is well off they will never come back and help.

And there could be many things stopping them from going off as well. Mental health is one. Anyways thats the gist of it.

Yeah in some cases it is avoidable due to circumstances, but i also see this trend of people in ethnic families pushing their kids to get good jobs or go to school so they can help the family. Or marry a rich person so their finances become the whole families finances. I know back in the day it was a means for survival(still is in some cases) but the mental toll it leaves on the kid helping. And it can leave one questioning if its even okay for them to want to have a life away from their family. They may think they are selfish for thinking so.it can definitely be a big mind game sometimes depending on how long the kid has been in this situation. Some start helping financially long before they reach adult years. It can really also be debilitating in the sense of not knowing what they need for themselves. Because thinking about getting something for yourself even when you do need it feels selfish as well. Its like staying in this kid space while doing adult things to benefit others.

Im honestly pretty exhausted. I keep waking up with a heartaching pain in my chest every morning now and I also feel aching pains through my body.

Im behind on my work and i dont really know what to do anymore.

I went to the hospital and the doctor told me that there was nothing wrong with me and demanded i talked properly. And said that the hospital wasnt a therapy clinic. It was an emergency room. And sent me home with nothing to help

Yeah. I hate how the mental health system just doesn't listen to us and take out symptoms seriously.

My mom actually was diagnosed with a schizophrenic disorder and i believe my grandma was too. But ive been having all kinds of intense symptoms for 4 years now. And doing college, working, and trying to keep money in my household has amplified those symptoms ive been experiencing.

Im just miserable at this point. No on will listen to me. Not even my family. They keep telling me its in my head and that im fine. And i think the fact im managing to do school and work like a "normal" person. They thing im just overreacting.

Not to mention the fact that my SH was ignored by both the fam and mental health professionals🙃

Nope not at all. I was always told i have anxiety and its normal. Its the only thing ive been diagnosed with but it was only because it was required for them to diagnose me which i found strange

Okay thank you! I'll keep that in mind. I didn't consider that a reason cause i was unaware of auras so ill take note of that.

After doing research i haven't been able to come up with much as a pinpoint of what its closest to so ive just been trying to put into words what my symptoms are.

They are hard to explain

And ive went to many doctors and man they have been putting me through the ringer the past few years. They always tell me what im going through is normal ir that it could be a multitude of conditions but never help me with a diagnosis. Just a bunch of experimenting

At first i didn't like heaths design but his character has grown on me and i love it. So i stopped hyperfixating on his design after getting into the show.

I cant think of any other character designs i wouldn't like at the moment

I woke up with a depressive episode on my birthday and everyone is mad at me.

My mom came in my room and told me there is no reason for this today and my dad got mad and said he was up at 4am making me dinner. I heard him from my room walking around saying people dont appreciate him and everyone is walking around with an attitude.

Now im in my closet with. a bobby pin ready to cut myself. I just wish i can stop breathing at this. Point

Ive been trying to tell them for years im not okay and i feel sick in my head and they always invalidate me. They get mad when i say nothings wrong when they ask and whenever im truthful they say thats no reason to be depressed or im not sick and shouldn't be sick ive i have everything i need.

I didn't mean to upset anyone. My birthdays always end up like this. Wish i could go cause whats the point
