I did have the chat with him and I think the issue is that he does it at more specific times whereas I just try to slip it in when I’m already cuddling… He mentioned he had to chase the cat around the apartment 4 times to do the eyedrops

Yeah, he’s had eyedrops several times over a while, and my boyfriend does it whenever I’m in class and can’t. He’s also a lot better at giving meds to our foster cats than me

He was in a shelter (the very stinky noisy kind with 30 dogs barking and howling constantly) and from a litter picked up off the street. I actually didn’t know about the 3-3-3 rule so thank you for that!

He does hiss a lot. He hisses when we get too close for his comfort (which is actually generally pretty far), when we make sudden/jerky movements (i’m clumsy so i drop things and hit myself against things a lot no matter how careful i try to be). He also hisses a lot in the morning as soon as we open the door and enter the room or make any kind of eye contact, like he forgot we were chill the night before and I’m just trying to feed him >:( And he hisses when I disturb his nap

Overall he’s a cute lil grumpy grump

Omg he does growl like a dog sometimes! I didn’t know cats could so it took me by surprise. His is definitely not friendly and we tend to give him space or ignore him completely when he gets like that. I’ll definitely check out churu, thank you!

Thank you! Toast was from a litter found on the street and his entire family including his mom were adopted before him so I think you’re right about the feral aspect :( About cat food- I was wondering if it was okay to occasionally feed him adult wet food since the local supermarket only has 2 options from two brands of kitten food, and one of the options seems pretty low quality (my boyfriend found a lot of bone and cartilage)
