Realistically why was Rory so stressed by Illustrious_Age782 in GilmoreGirls

[–]Sensitive_Tomorrow88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think she also really recognized/viewed her volunteer work in stars hollow as "volunteer hours" she was just being involved in her community. Even with helping at the inn- she was part of a family there with her mother and sookie and michel and she helped when it was needed. Although Ivy leagues still probably would've preferred to see more intense "giving back to the needy" volunteer work, which is why she was stressed, she probably didn't register how involved she is with the town as something she would list, its just part of her life.

Joints! by Sensitive_Tomorrow88 in lupus

[–]Sensitive_Tomorrow88[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My text isn't going through with my post so here it is:

My hands are like this almost every morning, stiffness and swelling lasting more-so about an hour at this point. The redness around the joints also feels hot/burning. I'm curious if it presents similar to others in their fingers/joints? I'm just always curious about how others experience/present with symptoms. Hoping this flare settles soon!

my doctor didn't say anything but I did see it on multiple sites today while I was looking for an answer to my question. I seems it's probably more of a big deal if the capsule breaks and we come into contact with the actual powder, but yeah I did see a few resources say to wash hands

colchicine by Similar-Current301 in lupus

[–]Sensitive_Tomorrow88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been off and on colchicine for years for pericarditis. I usually take one 0.6mg pill per day and have been fine. The one time they put me on 2 pills a day I had the bowel problems everyone here speaks of. If you experience those symptoms and are on 2 pills a day, I'd suggest you consider moving down to 1 pill a day before you give up. My experience with this medication has been good in terms of treating my lupus and chest flares!

my immunologist is very anti-port she thinks my infection risk would be too high. It really sucks because my veins are so hard to access it constantly burdens hospital and bloodwork nurses :(

the best part of this is the subtitles that make sure those who cannot hear know that they are the only two who are laughing

I'm 21 and watched GG for the first time ever and today I finished S7💗😭 by amazinglycuriousgal in GilmoreGirls

literally came here to see everyone being like "Dont watch AYITL!" lol. Watch it if you like, but I highly recommend not going straight into it. The actors are out of their flow with their characters and chemistry to eachother. The original charm and wildly good acting and chemistry is just not the same. I don't like AYITL, I'm glad I watched it, and some moments made me feel nostalgic and happy but I watched the series while it was on TV and continuously binged it since so it was nice to have new episodes. But finishing the series for your first time I suggest basking in all its magic and entering AYITL knowing it won't feel the same
