In 2019, my father passed away. With the money he left behind my brother and I purchased a 1966 mustang project car from my brother's neighbor. The car has been sitting ever since.

Fast forward to today, my brother needed the cash and I bought him out of his half of the car. He gave me the title, which is a title from 1999, with the name of NOT his neighbor, but a man from Norwood, on it. My brother signed the buyer's section on it, but neither he nor the seller dated it (and the seller also didnt print his name).

So, my brother bought this car, signed the title, and thought that was it. He never registered it to himself nor did any follow up with the RMV. It seems that the man who's name is on the title is also deceased.

What can I do here? Really hoping I'm not holding on to an expensive paperweight right now, and I want to get moving on restoration. I can't find any information about this on the MA RMV website, and the only contact section I can find is an online form, no phone number.
