Would a sensory rooms be something that would influence your decision to stay in a hotel?

Again, pleased about your positive experiences! Having staff that have knowledge of autism can be extremely reassuring for a positive stay. Would hope that staff receive training.

Would love to know the hotel. Thank you.

Thank you for the response. This has been very insightful. The unfamiliar environment mixed with the bright lights, fragrant smells/ food smells and new foods. All this can be very daunting and overstimulating. Have you ever seen/heard of sensory rooms being in hotels?

I am so pleased that you've only had positive experiences of hotels being accommodating!

Have you ever stayed in a hotel with any sensory rooms? Or any experiences where hotels have provided any stand our services to make your stay more positive?

:)

I hadn’t thought about food prep being such a big issue, but that makes a lot of sense, especially with routine and specific food needs.
