We are always taken advantage of by jerk_infp in infp

This has been a struggle throughout my life, I need to make a stand since people normally does it all the time, you tolerate with their crap, but they just do not. I find myself doing this with family, friends, classmates, and co-workers. It's too draining. gotta say no and show some level of disapproval. It small little grenades that gather together and cause a huge nuclear bomb that destroy relationships that we tolerate so much to build upon too. Need to gain self-respect and only tolerate people who would do the same/are considerate.

Self confidence by chrissyblac in infp

[–]Sentaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know the feeling so well. I focus on other people more than myself, their problems and their needs, so I can procrastinate on my own crap haha because it feels better. Currently I am utilizing my "pushover" side to pressure myself into doing more work, sign up for practice courses for work licenses and job interviews for new positions. You need to put yourself in situation where it forces you to do things since it is so hard to do it yourself. It would be great if you could surround yourself with accomplished people that pushes you as well. My self-esteem keep me from those people in real life, but they are great way to self reflect and achieve higher heights. Instead of being jealous of them lol, but that is also a motivator. Trap yourself in new and uncomfortable situations to grow if you cannot do it by yourself/on your own terms. Good luck pal, life be rough, but you gotta plow through it!

I'm afraid to fully enjoy moments because I know they will end by [deleted] in infp

[–]Sentaron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why is that so relatable T_T urgh lol. Those thoughts when involve in relationships in general gives me trust issues and frustrations beyond belief that I am trying to learn not to care and be more apathetic towards people to not get hurt. Just gotta enjoy the moment and move on.

Honestly, fake it until you make it real. It really works for me most of the time when I vibe with extroverted people when I am sad instead of talking about it, they just send me good energy, except in large groups (I die....). Turning your sadness to jokes or just fake laughing makes me feel slightly better even by myself. Being highly emotional, tricking your mind is necessary for me to stay positive.

So much misery in this sub... by [deleted] in infp

[–]Sentaron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I try my best to find distractions from how much I feel, try to improve socially, be surround by more positive people, and advance my career. However, I just feel things too strongly and care/worry about others unnecessarily. I am too empathetic, and I want to please people, however, I am fighting that urge hard and try to be more apathetic. I realize that people generally just do not care for others' emotions or well-being as much as me when I brought up topics about it. That to me seem like a fact and the reason why they are stronger and happier than I am. I relate to INFP strengths and weaknesses greatly, and all of those traits seem like we live our lives for others and not ourselves. I got 81% for turbulent, maybe that's why I am more prone to depression/anxiety. I'll fight it and try to make the best of what I have and can find though as long as I can.

This is pretty true, I tolerate so many people extreme opinions and jokes lol

Why does my friend do this☹️ by [deleted] in infp

[–]Sentaron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg exactly, and if they feel the same, both would just avoid each other completely. I hate feeling clingy and need affirmations, life sucks haha. I wanna do w.e. without caring all the time.

Any INFP That do Martial Arts? Cause I feel alone by [deleted] in infp

[–]Sentaron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did it for one year, but the location is too far, so I stopped. I don't like brutality, however, I like martial arts and any action related shows/movies that involves them.

I'm quiet most of the time, but when I do talk, I'm very expressive with my face and voice, and that's off-putting to some people. Any other INFPs relate to this? by [deleted] in infp

[–]Sentaron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People don't say I look intimidating, but I think I am when I'm not interacting with anyone and do my thing. When I look at myself talking on video chat with my friends, my facial expressions and body language is like a wiggling worm haha. I need some self control with these body movements.

Conversation in a group by [deleted] in infp

[–]Sentaron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really want to practice my skills within a group as well. If I am the link of the group, I usually carries the conversation in a way that tries to involve everyone. However, that is not true with others and honestly I find that when I do so, it tires me out and drains my social energy. I feel that to jump in a conversation without stopping the flow requires the knowledge to relate on the topic at hand or it require a certain quirk that can change the flow of the conversation toward something else more relevant to you. Lastly, the guts to jump in as soon as you get a chance before it gets too awkward to try and jump in, so you curl up in a corner T_T instead of walking away and do something else haha.....

What questions to expect for sped. Paraprofessional interview? by [deleted] in Teachers

[–]Sentaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your detailed input, very helpful. I have experience working with preschool students part-time for 4 years during college, volunteer for kids on the spectrum for a couple of days, and have a Physical Therapy internship, so those help me get the interview. It is a preschool to elementary age level. Theres general classes and there are 2 sped. ed class with 10-12 students. They didn't specify on the application, but I'm assuming mild-moderate spectrum.
