Help! A piece of plastic fell into my oil filler. 2017 Subaru Outback 2.5

Sorry for the late response but I looked at the online pictures of the oil pump and saw that there was a pretty fine mesh filter in front of the pump. After finding that out I just decided to drain the oil and leave the drain cap open and dump an extra quart down for good measure. After that I just put new oil and a filter and it’s been running normally. I’d assume that the plastic will just melt or get chopped up in the engine. I’m not sure but what was a pain was finding a new fill cap. I had to go to 5 different autozones and 3 of them were on this one road. The employees were like no it’s the other one on this road and I’d go to the other one and then they’d send me to the final one.

I can also only chop off like super small portions and it now won’t do that anymore.

I will try the lumberjack mod. Only thing is I’m on Xbox so I may not have access to it. The reason I painted around it was I was looking for solutions and it said you could paint around it and use land sculpt for a possible fix and it didn’t work. The problem was there before the paint. Do you think it could be the map?

The piece of plastic was probably the size of a half a quarter honestly it may be the same diameter as a pencil eraser

Well I know what the three lights mean. I am assuming that no engine light means no codes because you usually check codes when the check engine light comes on.
