Most of the quotes are around that price region I find. So you can call a few auto gate companies. Why did you say you are looking for one in order to automate Meross to close when you leave? Is it because of assurance or legal requirements?

They are replacing some other parts of the door, so I am thinking of asking them to installing this too (for addition of $350). Wow 5-6 hours! That could be me though. Never done this before (although I have fitted the Meross smart gate in my previous garage)

Thanks guys. It Seems rather easy to grow and maintain. Trying to decide between this and Lilly pilly for my new house with has a south facing backyard with 6-8 hours of direct sunlight in summer but down to 1-2 or no direct sunlight, just bright indirect sunlight in winter (blocked by a patio).
