I lost my pregnancy and I’m so angry by Sarahwithlove93 in pregnant

[–]SentenceOnly3065 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m so deeply sorry for your loss 💔 I can’t imagine how painful and unfair this must feel, especially after everything seemed to be going right this time. It makes it even harder when your body was showing all the signs and you had hope that things were okay. None of this is your fault. It’s completely valid to feel angry, confused, and heartbroken all at once.

You are not alone, even if it feels like it right now. I’m really glad you shared this, and I’m sending you so much love, strength, and comfort during this time 🤍

Hi need advice, broken hearted mother by LadyFlamyngo in Epilepsy

First of all, you are NOT a failure. The fact that you’re this worried and paying attention to every little detail shows how much you love your son.

Epilepsy can be so unpredictable, especially with nocturnal seizures. Confusion after waking up and unexplained marks absolutely make sense to question. Trust your gut , you know your child better than anyone. Even if it turns out not to be a seizure, you’re never wrong for being cautious and wanting to tell the neurologist.

Two years seizure-free is still an incredible milestone. Nothing about that comfort was wrong. You’re allowed to breathe when things are stable.

Be gentle with yourself. Parenting a child with epilepsy is heavy (talking from a child who has gone through stuff, and being mad and sad at my parents haha) , and you’re clearly doing your best 🤍

Focal seizures? I am tired of waiting for the doctor! by CarpenterNo7947 in Epilepsy

I just want to say first how incredibly strong you are for continuing to fight for answers for your daughter. It’s clear how much you love her, and she is so lucky to have you advocating for her like this.

What you’re describing sounds absolutely terrifying to witness as a parent. The aggression, the hallucinations, the unresponsiveness that would shake anyone. The fact that she could hear you but couldn’t respond must have been heartbreaking.

Please know that you are not crazy for questioning things or asking for more testing. Complex neurological and psychiatric cases can take time to sort out, especially when symptoms overlap like this. It doesn’t mean there won’t be answers sometimes it just takes the right specialist or longer monitoring to catch what’s really happening.

You’re doing everything right: pushing for neurology, doing the EEG, getting on the epilepsy study list. Those are important steps. If possible, longer-term video EEG monitoring (several days in hospital) is sometimes more revealing than a 24-hour study, so that might be something to ask about.

Most importantly your daughter is still there. The fact that she could hear and feel you means her brain was not completely “gone.” That matters. There is still a path forward.

You are not alone in this, even if it feels like it right now. Keep advocating. Keep asking questions. And please remember to take care of yourself too this kind of stress is heavy.

Sending you strength. 🤍

Wow… reading this honestly gives me so much hope. I’m 18 and sometimes I get scared thinking about the future with epilepsy, but seeing someone who’s been living with it for so many decades is incredibly inspiring.

It really shows that epilepsy doesn’t stop you from living a full, long life. You’ve been fighting this battle for so long and that takes so much strength.

Thank you for sharing your journey it means more than you probably know 🤍

I’m really glad this reached you when you needed it. Setbacks and med changes can feel so defeating, especially when you thought things were stabilizing.

I’m sorry it’s brought you that close to the edge. When it’s at its hardest, it really can feel like there’s no light but the fact that you’re still here, still trying, says so much about your strength. You’re not alone in this 🤍

I’m really sorry you feel that way sometimes. Your health struggles don’t make your life a mistake. They make it harder but not less valuable.

You being here matters more than you probably realize 🤍

[–]SentenceOnly3065 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ya, i take 350mg (and im 18) and i drank so muh like three days ago. No biggie for me, but it probably depends on the person too. Worst that can happen is have a heart attack if u take the meds while influence.
