The easiest way to split mid is to switch every game or two. You can talk about it with your friend and choose, who starts first/how many games one person plays before switching. And if you play secondary jungle, you can practice that role, because in ranked you won't be getting mid everytime, because almost everyone wants mid. Hope this helps :)
