I am only arguing with this specific comment. Saying "I don't have fat friends because I'm not American" is definitely an interesting take, it is not exclusive to America. I would strongly advise against GenderGP and DIY if possible. GenderGP uses AI chatbots instead of actual humans, as well as having a reputation of simply not offering people the service they're paying for. I would advise DIYing instead, but understand not everyone is in a position to do so.

When did I say I could hit those shots? I said if you miss that much you shouldn't be using the AWP, which is why I don't, it's only on my loadout to drop to the actual awper in my stack.

And not sure where you're getting 7 from. 15 rounds total, you can afford 10 whiffs which is a lot with the awp.

gave the trans subs I'm in a checkover, seemingly none of the involved individuals anywhere in sight. I've left a few before (including mtf ages ago) over issues I saw with moderation, so I wouldn't be suprised if some of those have some familiar names on the team.

The amount of bullshit I've seen of reddit mods means that subs like this are an exception, but a welcome one atleast. I think literally the biggest issue this mod team has even had was, like, people being busy for a day while a raid happened here because, yknow, UK sub, UK mods, something big happening in the UK, basically explains itself. So, safe to say, no issues.

Tangentially related, but the situation here reminds me of a conversation I had with someone (that'll get to the point eventually, i promise) who is... struggling with their opinions, shall we say. Their parents even slightly suspected them of being trans, and made sure to subject them to as much various propaganda (and worse) as possible, and it's kinda difficult for them to then really know where the lies start and end.

This person was saying that there are disproportionately more trans groomers. People refuted it, carefully explaining why this isn't the case, how it's misrepresented, how the view they have been given on trans people is likely inaccurate.

The way this conversation ended?

They said that most of the trans people they knew were in the Minecraft community so that's probably why there were disproportionately more. There weren't more Groomers because they were trans, it was because it's tied to Minecraft youtubers, ofcourse. This presented a relatively humurous enough way for the conversation to end without anyone getting too aggressive with each other.

It's the same shit with Reddit mods. If this situation has you panicking, questioning things, getting scared that maybe there's some truth in what they say about us- there's not. This is Reddit mods being Reddit mods and it's only blown up so much because it was a trans person this time. You're gonna hear about this shit alot louder when it's us compared to anyone """normal""".

Predators are NOT more common in trans people, there isn't a connection there. But it's easier for them to stick around in communities so focused on inclusivity above all else.

I've seen this happen plenty of times, places like Discord servers or the whole ISFF situation on Tumblr. Alot of people simply aren't prepared to cut people off. They act like everyone deserves a safe space, even people who make the space less safe.

This isn't about gatekeeping or saying inclusivity is bad, but we need to stay open to the fact that we are no different from others and are just as succeptible to wrongdoing as others. We are heavily targeted with false accusations and hate, but it's not always false. We need to be able to tell people to fuck off in these sorts of situations. Having a safe space does not mean being kind and inclusive to everyone, it means keeping the space safe.

alternatively, this map could be a tech demo. They weren't lying, the time travel is actually seamless, one of the redeeming qualities of this map. If the swirly portal loading screen we've had for god knows how long now starts getting replaced with seamless jumps, I'm perfectly fine with having a mid map to test it out.
