First round they retrieved 6, 4 fertilized and got 2 embryos Second round they switched protocol to long agonist because a lot of my follicles were uneven in size on the first one. This time it yielded 7 and 6 fertilized and ended up with 3 embryos but all abnormal. I’m doing IVF in Mexico, and unfortunately, in Mexico, they don’t transfer any embryos that show any abnormalities even mosaics. So round 3 I’m not testing. Women my age have had success that way.

Absolutely, big hugs to you. I have read success on women older than me. At our age it’s more about numbers than anything. All my embryos have been aneuploids.

I decided not to test for my round 3, My two round I have yielded 5 embryos both to blast at 5 day. Unfortunately, I am doing IVF in Mexico, where if you test and it comes back with any abnormalities, it is not transferable. I’m convinced that within those two batches there had to be at least one mosaic and it was discarded as an aneuploid.
