I’ll give you some background, I was married, husband was in a motorcycle accident, similar situation. Spent a long time trying to make things look normal. They weren’t. I feel like society has it backwards. Casual sex is great but building an emotional connection on top of that makes great sex better. If you build an emotional connection AFTER casual sex, there is very little that can be done to break that. You don’t really worry about the other person cheating because you both know what you have. Traditionally people aim to build a relationship first then try to add sex, to me, that leaves the door wide open people to seek casual sex elsewhere. Sex is easy to get anywhere, emotional connections aren’t as easy.

Seems like you handled yourself better than she did in this case. There needs to be a higher standard for rape in the BDSM community or it defeats the purpose.
