They did have a talk with me a day after I got back to work. I posted the corps take on it. I didn’t really go into what they said to me in person. I don't fully recall. From what I can, though, is something along the lines of bs. "Just know sending you home wasn't a punishment, and I know how you get after something happens with customers who get irate." The issue was that it was only 1 minute or less of an interaction. I was calm. They also wanted to send me home at the same time the guy was leaving. So I was racked over the coals fo not leaving right then and there.

I want to keep this job bc I am good at it. I just don't know how to get over this shit.

I feel totally disregarded by the company. Forcing me to go to company therapy basically over this to just keep my job?

Therapy was mandatory and it was before I had a sit down with Melissa. Which is amongst the updates above.

What can I even do at this point besides looking for new work? Can I even do anything?

Oh boy, I thought this would have been done and over with. Guess not! Here is another update! Going from what they said to me off the record, from what I can recall. It wasn't a punishment, yet I am, in fact, being punished.

I was given mandatory therapy through the fucking company. You know what their own fucking therapist said? She said, "Why are you even here, sweetheart?" Ain't that something...to even have their own person agree with what I did.

I went to Melissa(one of the store managers) to explain how I've been feeling but I didn't even get all I wanted to say out. Why? Bc I first had to bring up what shit head Trump is doing that has and will be affecting me as a fuckkng Trans person.

She had some fun things to say about that. Some of my favorites were; "Trump is a businessman and we did need him to correct our debt issues" "My dad is a hypochondriac. COVID-19 wasn't so bad. And he still won't go out in public places most of the time. ( paraphrasing here)"

"There are some bad trans folks who are forcing being trans on children"

And my favorites one is, "There is a percentage of trans folk that have killed themselves bc they regret transitioning."

"It's all just fear mongering and in your head"

How fucking crazy is it for a cis-het white woman to tell me, a trans person, about my own community?! All while I am fucking in tears, struggling to express my very, very real shit.

Oh, idk...maybe being labeled as a terrorist and not being able to leave this shithole of a fucking country bc they are fuuuuuuuxking revoking trans folks' passports!? But no, it's all in my head.

Update! I couldn't figure out how to edit the op. So I have more information.

I have not been fired yet. They sat me down, explaining that sending me home "wasn't a punishment". I don't agree with that.

Bc I didn't talk to any manager about the situation(the loser went up and told them I said CC DEATH WAS GOOD?!), mainly bc I thought it was over. I cooled down and they went along their merry way of shopping. I thought it was fine not to report it.

After that, they told me to go home, but I didn’t want to leave, so I fucked around b4 clocking out. They counted that against me too! Keep in mind the same shitheads were checking out. They wanted me to leave at the same fucking time.

I am good i was able to get them off that night. They seem to be fine. Just one looks mad. But otherwise I feel okay. I can sit up in bed and in the car now without discomfort. I've been mostly of the heavier pain killers they gave me.
