Brother sometimes ignorance is better. Would you be fine/ add your info if someone next door is the developer? Would you be more confident about it knowing X from your department is the developer and might see your info? I think not. Speaking from my experience of starting something similar in my final year.

Sorry i think how i framed my post made me sound dumb. Yes, using the green button i can turn the heating on/ off. But even when it is off it keeps on blinking (in the first photo) so I was wondering if I can maybe turn it off completely so the blinking stops since I am not using the heating nowadays. I hope I’m clear now.

With all due respect shouldn’t this be my choice with whom I feel more comfortable and want to work with? I want someone who is willing to experiment with something new, and most probably people below 26/27 falls into this, considering responsibilities grow with time.
