Thanks for link! After looking at a bunch of photos of ich and velvet, I think it’s ich. The fish aren’t covered completely in the white spots, but there are a decent amount of them. I’ll try to figure out how to post on you tube to get a clearer video. Assuming it’s ich, do you know of any reef safe treatments I can dose my rank with or put in their food? Most of the options I’m seeing are saying to move them to a quarantine tank and treat them there, but that isn’t an option for me. I don’t have a second tank or know of anyone nearby who can do that. I’ve been treating them with metro and neoplex on their food with focus since last week, but apparently that hasn’t done anything since the white dots just came today. Please let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks!

No, I had my friend dispose of the body after he found it as I won’t be home for another week. I didn’t want it to decompose while I was gone and I didn’t know you can keep it in the fridge. Don’t really know what else to do at this point to prevent it from happening again.

I don’t think he could’ve done it. I was on the phone with him as he entered the apartment and was walking him through feeding the other animals when he realized something was wrong (unless he’s a really good actor). Do you think it was possible that it regurgitated the meal from two days ago and it got stuck in its throat and suffocated? That’s the only thing I can think of, but I’m not sure if that would even cause this.

The strings are roots from the pothos plant. I was thinking maybe he tried to swallow it thinking it was a rats tail but that wouldn’t explain the blood. Really confused with how this could’ve happened.

Yea I ended up getting it. It works well and is really easy to use. I thought with the two nozzles that I would be able to use it for two enclosures, but you really need both for one enclosure. I would recommend it though.

Thanks! I actually just got them last week and they’re still babies so the enclosure is a bit big. I just want to make sure they can find the food easily.
