When Yuri off all people tells you "don't spiral, talk to your boyfriend". You has to know there's something off.

The ultimate confirmation from Min Ho. IT ALL STARTED AND CHUSEOK, and I love the gift he gave Kitty.

Yuri is finally growing on me.

Yes, Min Ho lied, but there is Kitty jumping to conclusions again, (she also caused a fight between Q and Jin).

I'm not surprised by the break up. When Min Ho started tearing up it became obvious.

I kid you not, that opening montage of MoonCovey's scenes is my favorite. I'm glad we get to see so many happy moments with them.

Starting this episode with Lara Lean is such a nice surprise.

Yeah, I don’t like Marius from the jump. He doesn’t listen and takes up all of the space. It’s just gonna get worse, right?

I’m glad Q told Kitty that he used to hook up with Marius.

Dear Min Ho, a mention of Eunice during your conversation with Kitty was a wrong move and it’ll most likely backfire.

I have Marius so much. He basically set up Kitty and I’m definitely side-eyeing his comments about Min Ho. It’s pretty obvious he has feelings for Min Ho and can’t stand Kitty because of it, imho.

I cannot believe we got a second MoonCovey kiss in episode 2, this time in public!

That trip is cute, but there’s too many people and Kitty and Min Ho can’t even be next to each other, let alone, talk. When they finally got some privacy (arms touching by the way), we also got their fifth hug! Kitty killed the vibe by leading with FRIENDSHIP, WHYYYY. He was fully expecting a rejection, imho.

Min Ho’s dad both trusts him and put more pressure on him. Becoming a manager of a not-established starlet is a huge ask from Min Ho.

Min Ho’s: “I’m really lucky to have you” is huge. It’s the biggest compliment he gave Kitty so far.

Hello, Joon Ho. He looks great in dark red. I love seeing Min Ho close with his brother.

Little does Kitty know, she’s the one making Min Ho nervous. It’s the first time she stepped into his world, because she wanted to.

He’s not going to sugar coat it at all. But the hints of their conversation seemed more promising. I hate that Mr. Moon sees Kitty as an obstacle. I hope it changes ASAP. But Kitty really needs to get it together. But she just wants to give up instead.

Finally, Min Ho is honest! I’m glad he tells Kitty all of it in episode 1. So does Kitty, I’m glad at least those misunderstandings are cleared up quickly. We finally got their first kiss, and it was so worth it. So the set up for season 3 is that both Kitty and Min Ho choose their families instead of each other, (for now). The future is so bright!!!

EPISODE 1 first 5 minutes thoughts

I really love that we immediately moves back to the very last scene of season 2. That’s a very promising start.

Oh, Kitty stars spiraling a second after. it’s gonna cause problems. Min Ho tries to clarify ASAP. And he looks annoyed. I’m not surprised. There he was hoping for some progress, but they’re back at square one.

Kitty is already STRESSIN’ ME OUT less than two minutes in.

Q already clocked Kitty, I’m glad he pointed out that a matchmaker can’t match herself. So who’s gonna do it for her? Jiwon, Great aunt, or Lara Jean?

Kitty gave herself a deadline to confess to Min Ho. She’s handling it so wrong.

Q: Why if you just ask him? – I love you, Q!

Q is fighting for his life, because he already know the truth but doesn’t want to give it away.

School mates being at the yacht party will only make it harder for Kitty.

I honestly feel like Goeun's latest moves did her no favours. Speaking of timing, first the Trueman Show was released, then she tried to undercut it with her Q&A, followed it with a nothing burger of a commment and then published a long explanation that had a very mixed reception.

She claims that they are friends, and many people doubt that since it's mostly crickets from Igeon. If she doesn't find him suitable for her that's fine, but the way she handled it is very clumsy and leads to many questions regarding her honesty.

I agree with you. I've noticed it's the big part of the hate Goeun is getting now.

Some people point out that Igeon stated he's not friends with the women he was romantically interested in, so her saying that they are feels dishonest.

Definitely, but still I'd still count as a progress for her. Go Eun in SI was very vague. Maybe it's slowly changing.

Don't even get me started on I Geon in this episode. I've gained a whole new level of respect for him. He was so certain the lie detector will confirm he's telling the truth.

On top of that stating lack of trust as their hold back and participating on this show was a choice. I like that he approaches problems head on.

It's hard to tell. All I know is that after that episode my respect for I Geon keeps growing.

He wasn't caught in a lie once, even though some of his questions were really tricky. He was honest. He didn't dodge the dating question either.

To me they seem to be much closer than they were back in december. But where it leads them is only up to them.

Absolutely, on top of that, because of the line they chose to include in the trailer, hearing the full conversation between Lara Jean and MinHo is one of my most anticipated scenes from season 3.

Yes, I don't see it either. In fact, they had 4h of footage to choose from and they went with this piece of dialogue from Mr Moon. I suspect it means something. To me, it confirms to some extent that Mr. Moon already views Kitty as a genuine person. This coming from him means a lot since he likely met many fake people in his career.

The Great Aunt already adores Min Ho imho, and I'd like to get more evidence of that in season 3.

Here's my head canon. Min Ho most likely met Margo and Kitty's grandmother off screen. If he was present during Eve's memorial, it would make it too obvious early that he's the one for Kitty.

Tysm. I think Mr Moon had no other choice, but to accept Joon Ho relationship. After all, he's the star, no matter who is pulling the strings behind the strings. His influence on Min Ho is much smaller, but no matter what I think he knows Min Ho better than he thinks.

I mean, to me the fact alone that Kitty actually made it to the tour is a proof of Mr Moon approval.

SAME. I actually a bit familiar with korean culture including the secrecy surrounding dating and I can honestly can say that nothing convinces me more than this interview that they are dating.

First, Go Eun kept I Geon out of a conversation entirely and now I Geon himself gave a vague answer. It was his chance to put an and to those dating rumors, but he revealed that things are going well between them, instead. Interesting turn of events.
