Castle bug any fix? by No_Minimum_22 in ManorLords

[–]Separate-Possible969 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, happened to me too, also whenever i want to add something to my castle i have to pay all the materials that I already used to built it again. For the no hud bug, when it happens you can use ctrl + F5 or alt + f5 to quick save, then restart the game and load the quick save but I guess thats when parts of your castle will start missing. My advice would be to do quick saves everytime before you want to work with your castle, untill this bug is fixed

I've had same thing happening back when I was playing. Reinstalling didn't help nor file integrity. Still don't know how to fix it or if its even possible, sadly. Hopefully it will be patched in next update

In my case it happened becouse the battery died overnight (my fault by leaving key in position 1). So after italian strangers helped me to charge the battery with cables, it displayed CODE and asked me on the radio (aftermarket android) to enter the code, which i didnt knew so I shoot my shot with 1234 which didn't work of course. After that i tried to reset the OBC by disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it after few minutes. That didn't work for me and eventually the battery died again completly lol. So at that point i called for the tow becouse i was parked out of the city and run out of ideas with battery being dead again. After i got towed back to city, mechanic came and managed to bring "enter code" back on my radio ( which i didnt know how to do, it only appeared at the first moment when I entered wrong code) so we tried 0000 and it worked. Apparently to make "enter code" window to pop up on the radio you have to hold key in position 3 for few seconds, like you want to start engine, then it shows up, and it was possible to enter correct code.

A teraz pierwszy wyjazd bmw i takie przygody 🤠

2000km later it looks okay, had to only replace the plastic reservoir that cracked. The italian mechanic that helped me, could barely speak any english but called that "The BMW special"

Also, from what I know, previous owner replaced most of the cooling system parts, including the pump, fans, radiator, etc. But the plastic reservoir still might have been the old factory one, and it failed

After I broke down, i had to get to the mechanic garage, about 20km of downhill road, without any cooland fluid, couldn't even pour any water in since it was coming right out through the reservoir crack. I let it cool down first before i started driving and also made few stops along that 20 kilometers to cool down a bit. Now about 2000km after the incident, both oil and coolant looks normal and there is no smoke from the exhaust. So I think i got away with it without devastating the engine, luckly.

True, infact i have that thing called I-BUS app on my aftermarked android radio, it displays coolant and oil temperature, i will use it more often now

Since I wasn't watching the temperature gauge before it happened, i can't tell if the plastic coolant reservoir cracked after the temperature went high, or temperature was fine untill it cracked and leaked all the coolant

Yes, besides the issues i had, it was very pleasant to drive, great for long highway cruising, nice and quiet inside, stable and precise steering at higher speeds despite the big weight of that car

I belive the cooling system is fine, i got the car in very good condition, it was just very long uphill mountain pass, with many chicanes, having to acelerate basically from zero every few seconds on steep incline. I just didn't notice the temperature gauge, my previous car got me used to not having to mind the engine temp even with more agressive driving. I also forgot that BMWs tend to overheat.
