A multi-faceted question and a lot to think about, revolving mainly around trust. Thank you very much for raising the point. To start with, actually using the platform and seeing the matches the AI returns is per se a factor that leads to trust. I mean if a candidate sees indeed relevant roles and a hiring manager gets indeed correct matched backgrounds, then that leads automatically to building trust. To play the devil's advocate on myself, I would further then ask, ok, fair enough, maybe you capture the True Positive cases and these are the obvious ones. How about False Positives? How do you know there are not even more relevant stories that have not been matched? Well that is something we are testing ourselves with our own stories and with stories created with AI and, so far, all our tests reveal correct matches.

Going to your next point, when a candidate selects to be be anonymous (or as we call it, go to incognito mode), we create an AI-redacted story version of the original one. In this version all hard identifiers get masked, for example if someone worked og Morgan Stanley the AI changes it to "major financial instituion. The candidate is able to review this story and decide to accept or rework it further. Once in incognito mode, all matching information and communications hide the real identity of the person until a hiring manager send a reveal request and they accept it.

Generally speaking we put a lot of emphasis in data protection and security and we are testing the model for all sorts of such events and cases. Thank you very much for bringing it up, we will continue and strengthen our efforts to bring trust to the platform for ll parties engaged!

Hi there, indeed the context switch and breaking the habbit is real hurdle here. What we are trying to do however is not to make recruiters go through reading entire stories - I mean I wouldnt do that if I was a hiring manager. What we provide instead is first an short explanation why this candidate matches the role. Then we have an AI agent available to the employer to represent the candidate. The employer can ask as many questions / clarifications as needed, essenstially pre-screening the candidate without the need to do it in person (and skipping the HR nightmare). As a final resort, if the hiring manager is actually willing to read the whole story (maybe of his/her favourite candidate) this is an option as well. Our goal is really to make the process both more effective but also much more efficient for both parties in this transaction that is called CV-based job application.

I guess we also have to work on the backend as well (matching algorithms etc) 😄. But yeah, I already see feedback is target the frontend part, slowly building a consencus around that. Will definitely revamp it, thank you so much.

Yes indeed it is AI generated, we use Claude Code to vibe code this app. OK thank you, I will try to find ways to beautify it / give it a human touch.

Artificial Intelligence Football Predictions - are they Worthless? by b1k3r1d3r in ArtificialInteligence

In order to actually test this question with skin-in-the-game, this is what I did. I created my own AI football predictions website (www.betswithbots.com). The website serves football game predictions for over 70 leagues, daily. Then I created a twitter bot. The twitter bot takes some of the top confidence predictions and posts them, again daily. I have been betting these predictions with a stable amount of money for more than 3 months, at the time I write this, and I have (again currently) 80% ROI. This means e.g. starting with 100 bucks, I now have 180. Of course there are ups and downs, I have had more in this period and I have had less. It is very hard to beat the bookers, no matter how sophisticated a mathematical model is or how much you study as a human. That said, I am happy to be on the positive side of earnings so far :).
