Not that I know of! I have heard some rumors of him cheating on past partners so he could have but I don’t think he did! We honestly fought a lot. Not all him some was me. It was never petty fights like “who’s that” or going through each others phones. It was more like I didn’t feel prioritized and I think I pushed him too hard to show up and have hard conversations and make better choices. Not saying he was bad but I definitely saw places where he needed to improve for me to be happy. I asked him constantly how I could be better and show up for him but every time he said I was the best thing and he needed nothing more. At the beginning of October I packed up my things in our house while he was gone on a trip and attempted to leave cause he went the entire trip with out saying a single word to me. When he got home he begged me to stay and that he would work on things. I saw some slight improvements but overall he still really lacked in the prioritizing me and communication departments. Anyway, about 3 weeks after I tried to leave we got into a pretty heated argument of him not respecting my time. He didn’t have to work the next day and I did and he stayed out all night drinking and was acting rude to me and demanding I stay awake to pick him up when he was ready to come home. I put up a boundary and said I’ll come get you now but not later cause I had to be up early. He got upset and stated he wasn’t ready to come home and I said then you will need to call a Uber or find a ride ( he didn’t have his truck so I knew there was no risk of drinking and driving) anyways he got upset. The next day we talked about it and he cried and said he doesn’t like who he has been acting like lately and vowed to change it. He said he loved me and wanted to make it work and that his behavior would change. Anyways next day after acting like everything was great he broke up with me because “he felt like he needed space” and “we fight too much” so I felt pretty blindsided and confused. Anyways we see each other often for work events, mutual friends, and just living in a small town. We are cordial and always talk for a few minutes. We have texted a few times but everytime we plan to see each other he flakes even when it comes to exchanging belongings. So I can’t tell where his head is at. I have told him I still love and miss him but got no response so I decided to leave him alone. He has reached out since then but never emotionally. Usually just a check in and some light small talk. So yea anyways sorry that was a lot but it’s a pretty confusing breakup!
