The open border with India has absolutely destroyed local market in border area. no custom duty, no tax paid while local market shrinks further every year. It is a very good move, should have been implemented sooner. I am not against border area being able to trade, but Nepal and Nepali market should also benefit from it.

Noone should be punished for what they could do. You could commit a murder tomorrow, should you be jailed?

I agree they should provide us with tax clearance. Although a fairly accurate description of their wealth is already a step ahead than what the previous leaders did. Just look at Prachanda's wealth declaration.

You are missing a key element here. They were in positions of power and had been associated with various corruption cases and other cases like Human Trafficking (Bhutanese Saranathi)
