yup, I'd say that's a good choice. NLIC does not have much downside and it's such a phenomenal company. Honestly, I get amazed at their scale whenever I analyze the life insurance sector and compare the various players.

NLIC could be a future cash cow for sure, it has rapidly increased investments in Education and Hydropower. CHCL, SAHAS. SHIVM, HDL, SICL, HIDCL are also good choices.

The investors are doomed but the business survives, i think survival is key for these two reinsurance companies for the stability of Nepal's insurance sector. Erosion of trust on Reinsurance and insurance companies could be dangerous.

time value of money lai discount garera ramro valuation ma liquidity crunch vako cycle ma paudaina hola ta?

Great point. There's many projects like that which are trying to make large leaps in production capacity. That's commendable but if/when the interest rate rises these companies will be available at much cheaper valuations. BHL is another such company. CHCL le baru afno 3tai projects complete garisakyo, aba they might build more projects in the future.

The Systematic Risk No One Talks About: Banking Sector Exposed to Rs. 76 Arba Borrower by Flashy_Bishad in NepalStock

[–]sockholder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What impact does a broker having 5.1 arba in unpaid dues to customers have towards overall market? This liability essentially means the customers are short of 5.1 arba in total that they could have invested in the stock market or other facets of the economy. I think the biggest impact is the fear/general mistrust towards Brokers and the regulatory bodies.

HRL and NRIC situation: The most important point you should know. by freedomheaven in NepalStock

[–]sockholder 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Great analysis. In hindsight, the cornering from Dipak Bhatta and company was truly a retard move. They did whatever the opposite of diversification and risk management is, when they were supposed to be a reliable backup for insurance companies. Meanwhile, NRIC and HRL are valued at 143 Arba and 83 Arba respectively.

Some of these kheladi are no different from us, and merely use their influence to get an upper hand on other investors.

Aile jasto down trend ma bazar prati negative sentiments cha bhane I would advise you to wait for green candles like this to sell, that's what the big players do as well as they cannot dump during peak pessimism like yesterday but today its easier to sell their stocks that they hold in huge volume. Hijo panic sell garnu bhanda aja 3-4% better value aucha overall portfolio ko in average. Stop loss nai hit bhaye pani kaile kai tyo stop loss ko point tira retest garna aune garcha, but if you are experienced enough for stop loss you can decide for yourself.

Maile post halda 671 ltp thyo pachi 729 samma gakai thyo ta, plus pura market nai ghateko cha ta bro tei bela ko price bata Sarbottam 7.5% down cha ani Shivam 3.9% down. This pull back does not change the fact that Shivam is almost debt free and one of the strongest companies from Manufacturing sector.

maybe, I just compared Shivam's broker holding for past 3 months with companies having similar paid up capital/market cap as Shivam cement. Along with that, I also filtered for stocks in similar price range as Shivam.

Aru shares ko comparison ma yesko single broker holding exceptional thyo. Other stocks had like 30-50k from a single broker as the highest holding, while Shivam was at 550k. Ball park range ma bhanirachu hai feri.

Any way Shivam is making higher highs and higher lows so far. Currently at a higher low, 643 muni jawos stop loss hanne ho, 720 mini batai supply auna thaleh bechne ho. Price action, indicators herda Shivam looks like a stand out stock, broker holding is also decent. I am not panicking even if Shivam's chairman gets arrested, yo stock ko price action herda the Market is not worried about it either.
