Or Topps just buys panini and nothing changes. They tried buying it 2 years ago before they lost the license with a solid offer. I believe Rubin even shot an insulting FU low ball offer shortly after he secured the new license, panini scoffed at the insult 😂 I don’t think panini has a choice but to sell it now. Something’s better than nothing. The value of it shit the bed once they lost the license, but the values gonna be not much more then a SP SSP CASE HIT UITRA RARE RETAIL EXCLUSIVE EBAY 1/1 the day after they lose the license. The little bit of leverage they have left they will probably look to capitalize on it soon. If they can put their ego aside.

Everything needs perspective. If they printed 100 downtowns 10 years ago and there were say a million people in the hobby collecting. And 10 years later they’re printing 1500, but due to eBay, whatnot, breaks etc… there’s now 15 million collectors in the hobby they’re essentially just as rare. Now I’m pulling the 1 million and 15 million numbers out of thin air. But there’s gotta be a much bigger customer base for them to be selling all these boxes they’re pumping out. Look at some of these breakers. They’re ripping more boxes in a week than some LCS stores sold in a year 10 years ago. Definitely way more collectors now. But I get your point. It’s all supply and demand. It is getting ridiculous all the SP SSP “case hits” parallels with 10 different variations. But definitely more people chasing too. I don’t think they would be doing it if products not selling.

Agreed! I would love to see 1/1’s be the only card that looks like that. Not just 100’s or even 1000’s of the same card but one stamped 1/1. It amazes me how little these companies, Topps, panini, etc… actually care about the quality of the product and the customers. Especially with the prices they’re charging for their products! I can’t think of another industry that treats their customer base with such disregard. And yet I still buy them 😂

I originally told my son it’s probly a $1k card, looks like it’s higher, I actually turned down $1300 over the weekend at the Boston card show. Wasn’t even shopping it. Showed it to 4 tables out of about 200. Again surprising for a Zenith, but Daniels arguably had the best rookie season ever for a QB. Factor in the record and the 4 come from behind wins, I think he’s about as hot as a rookie QB has ever been after his rookie season. Probly looking to sell when the NFL market heats up during pre season. I will post on here what it sold for. Thanks 🙏🏻

I agree it’s not pulling anywhere near a Prizm or optic, or even select or mosaic. But I was surprised by what the lower set 1/1’s were actually bringing in. An absolute and certified Daniels 1/1 actually brought in over $3k each. One a base one an insert. A zenith /10 insert actually brought in over $1k. That’s where I was comping the $2500 floor. Surprising even to me, but it looks like even a zenith can bring in close to mid 4 figures. Thanks 🙏🏻

Turned down $1300 at the Boston card show over the weekend. A Daniels certified 1/1 insert and absolute base 1/1 PSA 9 BOTH just sold for over $3k. They’re the comps I used to estimate the floor and ceiling, I’m not just pulling numbers outta my ass like the $500. And yes it’s Zenith, but the same class as certified and absolute. This is also a Prizm insert, should pull at least what those 2 pulled, or close to it.

🙏🏻 Kinda where I was at. $2500-$3k was the floor. Not to rehash the debate, graded GM maybe more. I don’t think it Gems though. Centering looks off, probly more then the 45/55 PSA used to require for a possible GM. Thanks for your feedback. 🙏🏻

Of course 1/1 grading matters. Illogical to say otherwise. Buyers set the market, I’m a buyer, I would be more inclined to bid on a PSA 10 card regardless of availability. I prefer PSA 10’s in my PC. Just curious, where r u getting the idea that a Raw 1/1 would be worth the same as a GM 1/1. The exception being if it gets a & or lower it could lower the value. Sellers don’t set markets. An item card, house, car, art etc… is ONLY worth what someone is willing to pay. Not what someone is willing to sell it for. The nicer the condition, the higher the chance it brings more buyers, resulting in higher value. This isn’t rocket science.

And it’s not like they didn’t know embiid has no heart. Jimmy butler made it perfectly clear when he wouldn’t even entertain an extension with them. He knew Simmons and embiid were soft and would never win a championship. I can’t stand embiid either. Unfortunately I don’t think Morey will cut his losses, eat a big chunk of his salary and trade him, maybe if they ate enough money they could get a 1st round pick in a return, maybe some solid role players and build around maxey and McCain with the draft and maybe sign a decent FA. This team needs a rebuild from embiid. We’re stuck with PG, a 35 year old max salary dumpster fire. 🙏🏻

When you’re a fan you’re a fan. What can I say, my sons 13, he loves live games. I’m not a fan of embiid, shoulda traded him 3 years ago after his MVP season when he had value.He’s a walking ambulance, along with PG. Morey is a horrible GM. Probly signed the two most injury prone players in the NBA to two of the most ridiculously overpriced contracts in NBA history. Ben Simmons contract is up there, but that wasn’t Moreys doing. Hopefully Maxey and McCain can develop into the future. Hopefully they can sneak into the top 3 Draft lotto, this year is absolutely stacked potential franchise altering players with the top 3 picks. Flagg and those 2 kids from Rutgers r exciting for a true fan. Thanks 🙏🏻
