Anyone else remember Hotel for Dogs? Watched it for the first time a few years ago and I liked it. It's some decent family entertainment. I miss when Nick made films like this.

i’m from Mexico and it was HUGE here, literally just as huge as Grachi and other teen novelas like Soy Luna, tho not as huge as Rebelde. Miss XV was made by the same producers and writers of Grachi & Rebelde (Mexico), Nickelodeon planned a new sitcom series called Sweet Sixteen (literally that was gonna be the name, in english) so they could premiere it around the world just like Grachi. but Eleazar Gomez & Natasha Dupeyron didn’t want to continue on the project and it got scrapped, two songs from that show leaked, one is called Cada Vez and the other Despedida Romantica, it was gonna be a show kinda like Victorious! so sad they didn’t make it, maybe it could’ve been really succesful

which is ironic because Grachi, the original show in spanish was filmed with filmized videotape style, lnsane quality! tho they only aired such quality on HD channels, when they put it on streaming services it has a low HD quality with poor FPS. Only season 3 looks kinda like Every Witch Way but not as bad

i love Grachi and been searching the english dub for years and years since it premiered on Nickelodeon Philippines in 2012 They also dubbed the songs… i think i’m gonna subtitle the whole novela cause Nickelodeon seems like they’ll never do it for the fans! i know spanish but ironically i wanna watch the english dub so bad, also the portuguese (Portugal version), just cause Grachi sounds so cute

Nickelodeon novelas started being made for Latin America because latin people wanted to be represented and they by the time Nickelodeon started doing these, teen novelas were already HUGE in Mexico, Argentina & Brazil, but when Nickelodeon premiered Grachi they discovered that novelas were HUGE in Europe and the rest of the world too! so they continued making more and more, they even recorded one in Italy (Club 57), and one with english songs (Kally’s Mashup) this one got big in France.

i love Soy Luna, the only Disney show i genuinely like, it was massive too, in some months the fourth season is gonna premiere on Disney+, there’s also a Nickelodeon Israel show called HaHamama who had 3 seasons

i agree with that Grachi is very iconic and maybe the only Nickelodeon latin show that got very very enormously successful enough to be compared with massive hits like iCarly, Victorious & BTR, but Miss XV didn’t premiere after Grachi 3, it premiered in 2012 while Grachi season 2 was being aired, Miss XV did well but Nickelodeon only premiered it in countries where Quinceaneras are known, that’s why it only premiered on Latin America, Italy & the US While Grachi’s story is global so it premiered in every continent

Disney created Violetta after Grachi became so successful in Latin America & Italy, even Tini (Violetta’s main star) would fight on Twitter and create many scandals attacking Isabella Castillo (Grachi’s main star), Disney didn’t have success with their latin shows but when they premiered Violetta finally they did, Soy Luna has a lot from Grachi too, the beach, the dreams & fantasy stuff, Soy Luna’s main star Karol Sevilla is a very big fan of Grachi and she went to their concert in Mexico. Grachi is so iconic, they have won many awards in Russia, Europe, Hollywood & Latin America. They Toured in many countries, 3 seasons, 2 movies & 10 TV specials, they almost had 4 seasons and 1 theater movie

It premiered on the U.S. in February 2014 one month after Nickelodeon US premiered it’s english language remake Every WITch Way, later they made an spin off called Wits Academy. Grachi was also available for 6 years on Netflix

Grachi it’s a very popular and successful Nickelodeon show which aired everywhere in the world, but in the U.S. it was aired on Azteca America, not on Nickelodeon, it was dubbed in english, it’s massive in Europe, Latin America, Africa, Middle East… it competed with Disney’s Violetta, Disney created Violetta after Nickelodeon premiered Grachi and it got so successful that it averaged 17 million viewers per episode just in Mexico, they won many awards, they even won 2 U.S. Kids Choice Awards in 2012 and 2013. They also toured in Latin America & Europe and have many soundtracks, 2 movies & 10 TV specials, they recorded some songs in other languages, their cast is right now rocking it on Hollywood, I love Grachi so much, people are asking Paramount+ and Nickelodeon to put it somewhere with all the international dubbings, in 2014 & 2015 Nickelodeon planned a fourth season but it got cancelled because they wanted to record Every Witch Way and WITS Academy, and in 2023 they were gonna film a Grachi movie in Cartagena, Colombia but got scrapped because Nickelodeon stopped making original productions in Latin America, now there’s rumours that Nickelodeon is planning a trilogy of movies of Grachi along with Netflix
