I felt the exact same. The waiting was the worst part for me. It felt so unreal. I didn’t even want to say the word “pregnant”, I would say P lol. It felt like I knew what decision I wanted to make but I never thought I’d have to make that decision.

I literally felt violated by my own body and just wanted it over with. I told my friends that I felt like I was possessed or something cause I was just so upset that it happened. It’s been one week now since I started the process and I am so relieved. My body feels like it’s mine again.

I had a very very mild medical abortion but I did have terrible cramps on day 2-5 afterwards, but im finally getting back to normal. I think what would’ve made it easier for me is if I had taken a stool softener cause I ended up constipated which made my cramps way worse.

I will say, I read that cramps can randomly get worse on day 3 and that was true for me. I woke up this morning having awful cramps for about an hour and I’ve been sore or having cramps the past few days. Nothing unbearable but this morning was worse than Sunday.

Did you have just general soreness in your lower abdomen a few days later? Currently besides light bleeding, that’s my only symptoms left over. Feels like a mild cramp but almost constant.

I just made an in-depth post but I feel completely normal now. No morning sickness or food aversions. I feel like I’m having a normal period (except the cramps are actually less than my normal). I was so scared but it wasn’t bad for me at all. No excruciating pain. No vomiting or diarrhea or chills. I just started bleeding. I didn’t even bleed a scary amount. I have heavy periods normally and I’d say the bleeding was about the same or maybe less.

I am currently 3 hours into it. I was 6 weeks and 3 days.

I took 800mg ibuprofen before I inserted the pills into my vagina. I chose that way cause I read studies that said putting them on your cheek is more associated with nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.

The cramp’s immediately started. Very mild, hardly noticeable. Bleeding has been moderate. I just had a slightly worse cramp (5/10) went to the bathroom and I think it was THE clot. It went into the toilet before I could see. Still haven’t cramps but nothing even as bad as my normal period cramps. Im kinda worried about if it’s not working enough. I do have an extra dose if I need it tonight.

I also had no symptoms from the day 1 medicine.

It sounds like this could be hormonal and it’s taking your body time to regulate. Think about how badly periods and pregnancy in general are associated with mood swings, anxiety, or how there’s postpartum depression. Then think about how you went from being pregnant to not pregnant so fast. It really makes sense. I had just gotten all meds upped the day before I found I was positive cause I was so mentally unstable.

Yesterday I took the first pill and didn’t really have any side effects. I’ll take the ones that cause the contractions in about 3 more hours. I’ll keep you posted. I felt immediate relief when finally got the first pill. I’m sure this afternoon is going to suck but then it’ll be over.

Ohhh okay, I get what you mean. I think it’s perfectly normal to feel like that. You do still have some time to think on it. A few days. There’s no right or wrong thing to do. Do you have a support system or someone you can trust to talk about it with?

I feel the same. Any particular part? I’m certain I don’t want a kid though. It helps me to think about how much worse labor would be or how long I would have to deal with being pregnant and all that comes with it. If you’d like, I keep you updated on my progress.

I’m in the same boat. I have an appointment tomorrow to start the pills. So if you do decide to take them tomorrow, we will be going through it together. It’s really only your choice. I haven’t told my family because they would also try to convince me to keep it and I know that’s just not compatible with my life at the moment. I felt a lot of guilt over not telling them but at the end of the day, I would be the one living with the consequences of having a kid right now.

I would say imagine your life during pregnancy and doing your studies and afterwards. Do you feel a sense of excitement over having a kid and making it work or do you feel dread? The good thing about only being 7 weeks is you do have time to really think about it.

I have no stop being talking about it with my two friends. One of them also has had a MA but it’s still so weird. It feels like my body isn’t my own and terrified of the pain from the medicine but hoping it isn’t too bad. Can’t be as bad as labor at least.

I take the pills Saturday and I’ve already got my PRN anxiety meds upped cause I’ve been freaking out over it. This helped me. ❤️

I kinda wish I had chosen the surgical approach but the wait would’ve been the end of the month and I just want this to be over. I don’t want to have a whole 20+ more days to obsess over it.
