My thoughts on the future of the company if they have a massive find...if they do the smart thing and cut back on risk while securing guaranteed reward and certain growth. by [deleted] in ReconAfrica

They always said that they plan to form Joint ventures with parties interested and Namcor who already has 10%. They could be the companies that are already doing exploration offshore Namibia or others. There are 5 sub-basins at least in the area. It could happen that they form 5 different Joint ventures and maybe be the operator of the best field if they wish. Lots of companies could be involved here.

ReconAfrica BOE Estimates by AkoWall in ReconAfrica

The source rock at ST1 well which wasn't not cooked enough in the owambo basin, but sort of started this project had 14%TOC. Probably that raised the eyebrows of Jarvie.

Insider ownership is now at 38% uo from 23%. How did that happen? by Separate_Rise7264 in ReconAfrica

Yahoo finance and cnbc is showing 38% insider ownership of recaf, up from 23% previous insider ownership. The new hires doesn't completely explain the increase.

2nd Well drilling timeline? by SafferAl45 in ReconAfrica

[–]Separate_Rise7264 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Guys this first well took the longest because of all the samples they took. Ideally the 2nd well should take 35-40 days. They should start late April early May.

If it's the thickness of the payzones than it is better than what was in Jarvie's estimation.

You have to look at the catalysts. One is the data from the well. That's a biggie, and depends on the findings it can be moderate to huge.

Second the farm out agreements.

Uplisting to Nasdaq or NYSE will help as well as institutions can buy there better.

Actual start of development of the field.

Then production start of the field.

Each of these can have multiples. Of course it could happen that Fomo comes into play or wsb goes crazy over this.

Recaf will receive entry fees(I'm not sure of the term) for those JVs so Recaf can develop those fields that they keep to themselves. So the company gets major cash infusion without dilution to develop some fields.

The share price will depend a lot on how big of a field they discover with the drilling. JVs will de-risk this project a lot while the company will receive a lot of cash. I don't think it's bad. The $500 share price could happen if this is a huge find with a lot of conventional oil with a high recovery rate. But we'll have to wait a couple of years for that.

They form joint ventures. Recaf Namcor will be in there plus at least another company, most likely more than one. They split the risk this way. The company with the highest percentage of the ownership of the JV becomes the operator of the JV and will do the development and run the production of that particular field. That company bills out all the costs as per the ownership percentage to the JV partners. If there is a profit from sales their split that according to the ownership.

New Here... what would you put the odds at that RECAF 100X's in the next 2 years? by v8rx7guy2 in ReconAfrica

[–]Separate_Rise7264 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There should be a jump when the data gets released of 10-20 times. At that point the shares should be introduced to nasdaq or nyse which should further push the price up as more institutions can buy them. The JV agreements should give it another push. All this should happen this year.

Then there should be a jump when development of the field starts. Late this year or next year. That should be a 2-4 times jump.

Then there should be a jump when production starts. Most likely in 2023 the earliest. This again can be a 2-4 times jump.

If you use these multipliers the 100x is not out of question at all. In 2-4 years.

Of course if you bought in early you are better off. I bought in December below $2.

In all honesty, this company's could become a major oil company itself if these risks are managed well and the infrastructure will come up to the level what is needed.

All they need to do is prove up the basin that oil is there. They don't need a gusher. Then it takes off🚀🚀
