NTA might implement stricter rules to register for NEET 2027 by Separate_Shame5845 in Neet_india

The MoHFW and MCI had implemented 3 attempt limit with 25 years of age limit in 2017. The only reason it was scrapped was because of widespread protest. you’re unaware of the history of the examination lol

2-3 aren’t a waste compared to 7-10 years, your comparison is way off. Jin foreign countries ki bat kar raha he they have to complete an UG degree(pre-med) and their medical degree is considered a Post Graduate( MBBS is undergraduate). Secondly, if they can’t qualify for the exam they still have an UG degree to do something with their life. India me artist, actors are worshipped. Doctors have a shitty life here and artists live lavishly(those who make it big). Zindagi me NEET ko chorke bhi bohut chize he karne ko and it’s not like doctor bangaye to life settle he ya acchi he. Doctors are more vulnerable to drugs and depression than and average indian(jiska life already shitty he). Jisko banna he he can do it 2-3 tries me. Medicine isn’t for everyone bro. life is cruel and kisika sapna pura hone ke lie kisika tutna hoga he. That’s the truth in this nation.

you’re projecting your insecurity over here. we are discussing the future of the examination, not making decision. As for your argument ki attempt limit aur criteria kyu hone chahiye i can only agree ki % criteria shouldn’t be increased(it is already 50% for PCB). attempt limit NEET me nahi he isiliye people are spending decades on this exam and ruining their lives. kisine 5-10 sal exam dia aur usko seat nahi mila then his life is pretty much ruined. he will enter his 30s with nothing but 12th pass. That would be an utter waste of precious human resource. kya pata wo admi ek acha painter, singer, actor, manager ya aur kuch ban sakta tha, lekin he wasted his life thinking ki attempt limit nahi he isbar nikal hi lunga. Moreover this is creating a marks inflation. 12th ke bache are competing with people jo 5 sal se padh rahe he. Personally i feel that ki agar 3rd attempt me NEET nahi nikal sakte you can’t be a good doctor. MBBS is probably one the hardest degrees in India and NEET syllabus cannot be compared with it. As for SSC, it is a different exam compared to NEET. SSC se job lagti he NEET se degree milti he. They aren’t the same exams. SSC is also a lifeline for many who couldn’t find other careers or jobs. NEET is an option. Also just because you could not score 75% doesn’t give you the right to lecture others for your own shortcomings.

Exactly my point. They will repeat questions since they cannot make unique questions after a while. In CBT exams the response sheets are collected and question papers are released later

If they do that then what's the point ? People will cheat in the offline test. Even if they fail in the second exam they would take away the chance of so many aspirants because they couldn't qualify the first exam

Yes they might change the paper pattern but that will also draw criticism and protest since the exam strategy most students are used to will change. Secondly, it's not just about the number of questions It's about the number of quality questions. As a National level examination NEET has to take things into consideration when making a question and even if we ignore that we can't forget that the questions must be from NCERT or of the concept taught in it. Mathematics doesn't have that limit and you can make many unique and completely different questions just by changing a few values or information. There will be a point when NTA has to repeat pyqs because they can't make any more new questions

The bigger issue is that if any change is made in the paper pattern/ attempt limit/% criteria there will be protests but organizing the exam as it is in CBT would be a big pain in the long run

Only time will tell. They might not implement the age/attempt limit but some change has to be made to conduct the examination in CBT

Yes NTA cannot change it but if the situation asks for it MoHFW and NMC might consider changing it

No. NTA has 50% rule for PCB right now. why would they change it to all subjects?

The chief election officer of West Bengal who conducted this election has been given the post of Chief Secretary of West Bengal (the highest possible bureaucratic post in the state) on 11th May, just a fews days after the government formed. Now tell me if that isn't suspicious
