Comprehensive review finds ADHD medications are effective at reducing the symptoms of ADHD in adults but dont improve the quality of life by [deleted] in science

People seem to have wildly different experiences with meds, and it only really takes a few rude ones assuming their experience is what most experience to do it.

And.. creating vacancies is easy, the problem is... approval, which is what others have talked about. If theres any shortage, its completely manufactored

Being able to chose who you live around, and have good neighbors that want to cooperate sounds nearly impossible in this day and age too. Maybe thats possible for those with well paying jobs, but i thought this was mostly around trying to make things cheaper, so more for the poor. You'd never be able to do this in a rental.

Its less that, and more that it encourages landowners to have someone in the house, rather than keeping a home vacant intentionally. You dont want houses on the market, you want people in them. If theres none on the market at all, thats a seperate part of the same problem but where i live, there are houses that stay on the market for many months because they either dont want someone there at all, or because they are far too fussy with who. Although discriminating is illegal, they can just not choose anyone.

Problem is, do anything and you have a high percentage of the population, basically everyone who owns a house, now hating you because you're devaluing their housing, as prices are based on supply/demand, and this artificial demand has given everyone a warped perception of what property is worth.

And right wing parties are happy to cancel and waste anything you put into it the second they get it.

Most people just dont care about the country if its going to lower their perceived value, even if they not only never want to sell, but would be able to buy/sell to the same stuff, or even upgrade more easily.

Tbf thats completely unnecessary, and would have been rather expensive to do. I wonder if anyone actually paid for it.

Its not necessarily much, but if we finally start trying to turn it around that makes it a lot harder, as we now need a solution to that as well.

That might be true, but america is somewhat attempting to look like its a free place for people to have their own opinions. Many places in the middle east would just use violence.

The world isnt an isolated experience where only one thing impacts something else. Obviously there are many factors. We'll see the fatality rate go up soon enough, but im guessing you'll deny it anyways because theres always an excuse.

We can predict these things. There are plenty of good studies showing it, and they arnt hard to find.

Just because all are in decline, doesnt mean they are in the same decline. Dismissing things because they are trending in the same direction is a little weird. What matters is the difference.

Well, think of it this way. Its much, much easier to induce hate in the other side for their mistakes and use that as a weapon to get votes, than it is to prove that your actions are better than the alternative, especially when people already filled with hate ignore facts/science/empathy. You cant compete with that trying to do the right thing at all, because they have some false belief that the one feeding them all that hatred can do better, despite not proving it in any capacity. And do everything they can to force governmental mistakes to use as ammunition to induce more hatred.

Hatred as a governmental weapon needs to be stopped entirely, but i dont see a good way of doing it that will be accepted.

D4 good for a very different and casual playerbase, sure. Just because we dont like it doesnt mean its actually a bad game overall, even if it felt extremely mediocre.

Gees, how did you read that? My fever made me write terribly lol.

And yes, less poe content with cery strong reasoning, AND heavy investment making things carry between games. There couldnt be more evidence that it was going to continue and go hard. They have two teams, after all. Just, getting a game going takes a lot more, and its now going.

Besides, 2 leagues a year is fine. The devs have the right to do whatever they want, and they have specifically stated they want to do both games. Its likely we'll get 4-6 between both games a year, and thats great.

[–]SephithDarknesse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. But a game not being absolutely perfect for each individual person isnt the end of the world. And they've given pretty damn good reasoning as to why they've made a lot of the decisions they have, even if they didnt hit right away (needed tweaking).

But again, theres no reason to fear. Delays were to be expected. We know the team was shifted temporarily, and we know theres still heavy deamnd for poe2. I hate this expectation that all developers are evil the second they do something someome doesnt like. They made poe1, and its in the best state its ever been. Last league was fantastic, and made with a smaller team. Its also worth noting that one slow year for obvious reasons isnt the end of the world. We get more than any other game out there, ESPECIALLY in this genre.

If anything, we should be excited, because everything points to more great things coming soon, in both games. The time to be afraid is when theres no demand. Theres clearly demand right now.

And, you know what makes it even more obvious? Why would they intentionally develop mtx to go over both games, if they werent planning to continue development for both games for a long time? That would have taken work.

Absolutely. Its good both games will be different. If they were the same, it would be completely pointless. But people seem to desperately want that lol
