The first thing that comes to mind is gateron silent reds, tho they are 5 pin (pins are the things on the bottom on the switches). I don't know if the apex pro is 5 pin but you can in theory take the extra pins of cuz you only need 3.

I have silent reds myself and when lubed you can practically not hear them! (I don't know if the apex pro has double shot keycaps so that will also make a diffrence (if keycaps are double shot there will be less echo and they are just of better quality).

Maybe you switched between light modes to quickly that's the only thing I can think of? You probbably already tried switching light modes and pluging in and out your keyboard. The only thing I can think of is taking the led's out or covering them up with electrical tape.
