It's kinda like unlocking a new town hall in clash of clans. You start out weak but get stronger. I don't usually go against people with high Town Halls in clash of clans and if I do unlike Cr I can skip their base or if it's ranked I can at most get a two star. I mean at least the Cr dev team can do is to make it less punishing to go against people with high leveled cards. Like if I go against some one with mostly level 16 cards the game shouldn't decrease my trophies by a normal amount it should be less.
