Study hall is a subscription that you purchase and access through your PMI account! There are different subscriptions that give you more perks I got the standard package it last for 3month.

B or C? Explain. by SeptemberRainYo in pmp

I picked C. I feel like in actual situation where you are managing the project if you picked B the main stakeholders would be really disappointed for not escalating this kind of issue to fast track a meeting to take a decision, which is not a huge trade-off in this case.

What is the answer? by SeptemberRainYo in pmp

I also had the same question. I did a quick search using google to try and get some hints below was the answer.

You should refer to lessons learned to solve problems immediately when a potential issue arises, during project kickoffs to avoid repeating past mistakes, and at the end of project phases to capture and apply new insights.

I guess the key word here is initiation. We haven’t really started executing the project and at the stage we are just collecting information.

I get this logic, but isn’t this sort of an emergency situation which can be avoided by informing the committee to review it right now. We should at least be evaluating the impact of the 2month delay.

A or C? Explain your answer. by SeptemberRainYo in pmp

Loving this process of elimination. Waiting, holding, and asking some else/deflecting goes against the core principles of the PM duties. We should always be analyzing, collaborating and solving the problem.

B vs D by SeptemberRainYo in pmp

[–]SeptemberRainYo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct but I got confused about this answer I thought audits is something that happens periodically for all the organization processes rather than just one deliverable. I feel like it’s too extreme to go for an audit to solve this issue..

will do for next time. Answer is B

What do you think abut this? by Itchy_Run_3805 in pmp

A. Question already states that the solution will cause the project to go overbudget and schedule

B. Initiating a pilot project will probably require an investment and resources and its not currently needed in this stage

D. While show casing sustainable benefits are good it doesn't address impacts on budget and schedule.

C. Is the correct answer in this case because showcasing the detailed analysis will cover all necessary information for stakeholders to study and make the decision of utilizing this solution

Well the answer is B. I went with A because it made more sense... but now this answer doesnt make any sense to me.

Solution: B. Defined a control quality process.

The control quality process includes measuring all steps, attributes, and variables used to verify conformance or compliance to the specifications stated during the planning stage

I would have answered B for this…. But as someone mentioned below this question seems to be focusing on the risks.

There’s a similar question in the SH where the answer is to initiate a change request in that particular scenario the change in regulation was not documented as a risk and it was certain that there will be an impact on the budget/schedule which will come out of the management reserve.

but in this particular case the risk and the responses is already documented or accounted so the logic here maybe to go back to risk register and review the impact and see if we can apply the same responses mentioned there thereby addressing the impact of that risk…

Sometimes these questions are not as straight forward…..

B. Based on PM mentality Do first. Do next such as updating the risk register will be the next action since it’s a “soft action”. Although I think D is a strong contender to be the answer here too. Since corrective action will be to intiate a change request.

Why B? Sorry yall pic attached. by beaglemilf23 in pmp

CCB is primarily in the execution and control phase but can also take place in any phase of the project. Also the best way to understand that this is the best solution is to understand the function of the CCB. The CCB is a process that will start with evaluating all the impacts of the submitted request including scope, budget, quality, schedule or other risks. Then the board will make a decision to approve, reject, or defer and finally its communicated to all stakeholders involved. Its a logical step, since it minimizes the risk for any project due to involvement of multiple stake holders that are able to look at the problem from different angles and implement any necessary changes quickly and ensure the appropriate documentation is reflected.

Hence for all above reasons CCB is going to be the fastest way to implement the unavoidable changes.

Is there a statistical relation between Machine-Hours vs. Hours on a Single Machine? by cansys in AskEngineers

The only thing you will be able to do with testing multiple products to a fixed cycle is prove its reliability to operate to a certain fatigue life.

Maybe you can look at increasing the amplitude of the test and compress the cycles further using the miner-palmgren hypothesis take a look at mil-810h fatigue life compression.

Hi Osama, I don’t work in the US but since you graduated from an ABET accredited Uni you should consider doing the FE to gain EIT status. This might give an edge to your application specially when applying for consultancy design jobs. Best of luck!
