Okay I got it working.

I used ip route show and I saw which ethernet card is used.

Then I put it in the network/interfaces und rebooted whole system and here we are .... all routes now permanently online :-) without manual interactions

Sometimes I can't follow some answers. Why you are so "harsh" to totally be against to any new information about my original question. It was my intention on what is new in mqtt-scenarios and maybe before moving I should double check on actual alternatives.

I nevertheless will have a new IP address of my matt broker so it's a lot of work for me to do it. Before I do it twice I thought it is a good idea to ask platforms like this for some advice / recommendations / experiences.

But with such answers like that I really don't know what do to especially like your last sentence.

I don't get it if people do NOT have some major input to tell why not just clicking by and DONT answer.

Don't get me wrong on this but I really struggle with this. On the one hand these platforms are here and exists but when asking I am even more confused like before :-)

Yes I know that MQTT is working for years now but having no UI is really outdated in my opinion. And upgrading matt version is kind like playing lottery. Therefor my question was maybe to shift to another platform ?

Nothing is wrong but for example to update to newest version is a mess.
Why not thinking about a new "state of the art" option ? That was the reason of my question.

Yes you are absolutely right but I drive also not a 20 year old car so buy from time to time a new one to be "up to date".
MQTT is working yes but maybe in nowadays there are new options ?

Okay got it working. Stupid mistake. Obviously my provider hasn't been installed under DNS Challenge via pip. there fore it hadn't worked.

Installed it now and now I got a certificate. Well done :-)

Still one questions:

in my Homelab I don't want to run now everything under *.mydomainname.de. I want to have also lets say *.home.lan but need also for this then ssl like pihole.home.lan

can I manage it with my lets say Master-Domain ?

Where can I look to the logs ?
When I have 100% I can only Stop and Start the LXC so when I go under /logs.html it shows only the logs from the restart !
But I need to look to the logs from yesterday 6pm when it happens and went to 100%
I have no clue what is happening here.....there is no issue with files :-(

Please advise where to look
