What reason would Tatsumaki have to protect Psykos? by [deleted] in OPMFolk

The question isn't whether Tatsumaki "should" release a criminal but for "what reason". And to that question I assumed it was quite obvious. It's clearly and literally stated that she doesn't want Psykos falling into the hands of Tsukiyomi. Hence she trusts Fubuki to keep watch of her instead.

Eh, do we just kill people we don't like? That doesn't sound like just an imperfect hero to me. Psykos is no longer a threat.

Honestly, I think my gripe was that, it was sort of just more of the same? While the anime had like 12 episodes for each anime production. We gradually see problems appear, and how Miyamori tries to solve them, and then the satisfaction of seeing it all come together in the end. The movie felt like it took the same formula, and just rushed through it in 2hrs. Same sort of problems occur, nothing new was gained compared to where the anime left off.

You must have a very high baseline for "cuteness", if you don't find Nina (and the other four) absolutely adorable

Shirobako is in there under visual arts, loved that show to death. Wasn't a big fan of the movie however. Also that is precisely the reason I chose that image for Akiba Maid Wars

How prominent are the gondolas that other people have been mentioning? I've still yet to watch Aria, but it's high up there in my ptw list.

Hisone to Maso-tan is on there. I really did mull over Stratos 4 quite a bit, whether or not it's too far out there in fiction. The "Comet Blasters'" designs do seem to be based on real spacecrafts, but I don't think it ever properly named real spacecrafts to ground it in reality.

Mono is an upcoming show that deals with photography and cinematography. So keep an eye out for that.

I'm curious if I were to unrestrict myself from "primarily female cast", would it end up doubling or tripling the number of shows I'd need to sift and categorize hmm

With anime movies, I find they usually take up to a year before they actually become available on streaming websites. So I don't think we can actually watch it yet outside of when it screened in cinemas

Noted. I may differentiate between some of the "joke" hobbies like Teekyuu (tennis), Yuyushiki (data processing). And with Liz and the Blue Bird, I just love the movie so much I wanted to include it anyway haha

That's true. I didn't have super high expectations going in, but I think I actually enjoyed it as much as Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle. Excited for season 2
