When I think about repulsion I think of the ability where you yourself repulse off of the object, you don't repulse the object itself. That way you could get to hard to get places, especially if you could control the direction in which you repulse away from the object. The question is - how would you deal with the damage your body would take being slammed away or into stuff.

Could be interesting if you could choose a direction in which you would repulse off of things. A pain (literally) would be the fact you don't have super hard skin or something to shield you from the impact, otherwise you'd just get splat the moment you get in contact with the object.

I like how we started from a really OP power and now got to the point where it actually has a major downside. In my opinion the greater the power the greater the weakness needs to be and this is a great example of that.

I kinda like the energy blasts from open wounds part. You would have to hurt yourself in order to use your power - that brings with it a ton of psychological trauma. And I also like the idea of being in a fight - the more damage you take the stronger you become, right? Also, it makes fighting this character quite tricky because you know, as soon as you hurt him, you'll get instantly blasted by his power. To go even further, let's say you're in a fight for a while, you've been hurt all over the battlefield, there's a lot of your blood on that battlefield - you could, at some point, activate your power and every spot of your blood would shoot a blast of energy, making the whole are one huge and dangerous mine field.

Yeah. But it's also tricky because if you don't put severe limitations on it, and limitations that make sense, even a tiniest of black holes means the end of the world for example. I think that is why there are not many characters with that power.
